I'm calculating from flawless squares up + crafting fees + tome cost, so I'm including the current market price of flawless squares in the calculations.

I guess since gems never get destroyed this will continue to occur though.

Gems can be destroyed with the new amulet crafting. When that was allowed, the price on flawless square emeralds went up to like 11k or something.

So, I have been messing around with a "glass cannon" CM build and it is pretty good at blowing up packs, but not sustainable for like Keeps Depth 2. I die really quickly, but in Warrior's Rest / Crypt runs I just explode things. Glass Cannon along with Storm Armor and Shocking Aspect dominates groups.

Heh, I'll probably play. I should be able to hit 100 pretty fast on my barb now. One of my friends has found a great run in Act 2. He was getting like 41 million XP per run and it was taking just over 15 minutes. And that was solo.

It involved Eastern / Western channel (in the aqueducts), VoA, Desolate Sands and the Zultan Culle realms. I have to figure out exactly how he linked them though.

You could always just do repeated VOTA runs. I did that for a while.

The mob density in Eastern / Western passage is the best in the game from what I can tell. I'd wager that is the best XP per minute, and since they are connected, can be done very quickly.

Actually, I think Desolate Sands is technically the best.

So, I don't know if you guys follow any of the D3 streamers, but apparently one of them claimed he was paralyzed from the waist down and collected something like $20k over like 6 months, then forgot to turn his cam off and stood up on stream. He has since been banned from twitch and dropped off the planet when his damage control failed. I'd see his stream a couple times and he seemed like a dick, so I didn't pay him much attention, but he had quite a few viewers most of the time.

Man I'm loving some of these changes. Comparing items with your selected char in the AH is sweet. Now I don't have to log into each char to see if there is an upgrade in my shared stash.

I also like that you can craft items from your shared stash without having to run back and forth to it.
Oh and queuing crafting, finally.

Big changes that will make my life so much easier.


Ahh, I just realized that you can't upgrade gems with the gems stored in your shared stash...that kinda sucks. Looks like it only allows you to craft equipment. Oh well.

Nice, flawless star emeralds jumped in price compared to flawless squares, so I was able to make a about 5 million in 15 minutes. Now they are cheap again though, so the market must have gotten flooded when people realized. I know 5 million isn't much, but I've never had more than 10 million at a time, so it's quite a bit to me haha.

No love for the DHs... our class keeps getting weaker and weaker. A lot of DH players are moving on to other classes now.

Also, something weird was happening with gem prices just now. Radiant stars were selling for 150M. I crafted everything I had and put up everything I had at the inflated prices to see if anything would sell. It probably won't, but we can see.

I have a feeling a rollback is coming. I just sold 115 gems for 160m each. They sold instantly.

Well, they made is to gold stacks are in the 10m sale now instead of 1m. I listed almost all my gold for 0.26 per 10m to see if it sells. Kept around 1.5b though just in case. Sadly, all the items listed for 2b I'd have bought were either bid on or sold out. Eh, free money at least.

Wow. I thought I was doing well to sell the 20 RS rubies I had for 1bill. I put all 20 up and they sold as soon as I hit the button.
Prices are fucked. A rollback is needed due to the rampant escalation of gem prices. Also now that gold is $2.50 per 100mill...expect to see maxed out gold prices (2 bill) on worthless shit now.

I didn't realize how bad it was, I thought I just got lucky because everyone was returning to the game for the patch and buying gems and I just happened to sell them at a good time. I feel kinda guilty now for taking advantage of it.

It's surprising how quickly gold dupes spread, apparently in that short time trillions were released into the game. They really need to watch their code at patch releases, especially since it's worth real world money now, and you know dupers are just waiting for patch days to find an overlooked bug.

Oh, he's just playing normal now. He was buying every AH item over 20 billion for a while.

Supposedly gold selling sites have shut down too, since gold is pretty much worthless now.

there was a gold dupe, if you put billions for sale on the RMAH for .39c, and cancelled the auction right away, you got double the gold back, people exploited this to over 300 trillion gold in their accounts now

These guys got banned right on the live stream.

I'm gonna be pissed if Blizz just starts banning and not a rollback. How do they even determine who to ban? Most players took advantage of it in one way or another, especially if you bought/sold gems.
