I mainly want them for a hefty boost to my WW/HOTA setup. The Innas are nice ( movement speed, and IAS), but I am trying to boost my tDPS. It is over a million now but I want more. Sitting at290k unbuffed and hitting 570k with WOTB/killing spree.

I finally did a run without a legendary. I guess my luck is over.

I get a couple legs and then I don't get any for several runs. I have never gotten consistent legendary drops.

I must admit that the monster density has renewed my interest in playing a little. Now I think back and wonder how it was possible running through all of those "barren" zones, lol.

From a non powergamer side that just want to enjoy games i'm still having fun playing D3. Never was much of a AH lurker and never will. Mostly play singleplayer so I have no interest in getting the best gear possible.

Maybe when I hit 60 (yeah I know, my higest toon is a 44 2H weapon Barb and i'm now playing a 33 DW Barb and it's SOOOOOO much better) all will change but for now i'm having lots of fun just playing the game.

That is all that really matters. As long as you are enjoying the game, then you're doing it right.

I'm a very similar player, I've never bought any gear off the AH, so I think my highest DPS character is right around 50k dps.

It's still a lot of fun though, and I don't mind being patient. Just like D2, I'll be in this for the long haul.



There are rumors on bnet forums that they are doing rollbacks to pre 1.08 on some previously suspended accounts, and the "inventory adjustments" they are referring to is making all of their equipment BOA so they can't trade it. So this eliminates any duped gold, and also locks them into any gear they had pre-1.08.

Interesting solution if this is how they are really handling it. It get the gold out of the game, and also punishes the players by making all of their gear vendor value only.

1.08 is pretty fun in groups now. I think I killed smack a few times during some bad lag moments... oops I pulled too many trees in Fields of Misery

So, they still get to keep their high end gear but make it BOA.
I don't think that will do too much. After spending the gold to get the high end stuff, it is unlikely most would want to trade it or sell it off anyway. It does keep them from turning an additional profit or selling it for tons more on a 3rd party site (d2jsp, for example).

Quite honestly, the best thing would have been a rollback and ban sweep.

I was having trouble all day even solo. With not many mobs on screen I would lag and on my barb and just watch my health go down without any damage going out.

I just wish the AH could come back up. =(

To thank us for our patience since launch Blizz should program a unique Boss that appears only once on your next login and near your starting spot. That Boss would give a nice challenge and have a 100% chance to drop a legendary.

When it dies it would scream "SOOOOORRYYYYYYY"

Hopefully that's just the initial opportunists trying to squeeze extra money out of people. Are gems still overpriced?

Not necessarily. With the stupid inflation working all around, all you need to do is find ONE monster item, and you're set again. Actually, just play long enough in this hyper-inflation period and you'll be back "in it". Unfortunately, that means everything you earned over the past year is now garbage... like my 40 million gold stash.
