LOL newbish question, what are those ubers?
They unlock after you finish the game on Inferno?
I'm trying to get back into the game after only playing for a month at release. I just hit 60 with my barb bringing my count to 4/5. I'm really curious how to get better gear/gold, I am able to do mp3 comfortably with my gear on all 4 of my chars and I have around 10m gold and I'm struggling to progress to higher difficulties without spending all my dough. I've got 2 infernal machines including the plans and I've used one just to see how hard the bosses would be and ended up not getting a ring piece. So do I just keep farming and selling trash yellows/blues hoping for some good drops to AH or what?
Found my second mempo of all time yesterday, and no cc again . 195 str, 60 vit, 58 dex, 9ias, etc. I wish that dex were cc
Don't feel bad, I've yet to find a single mempo at all. I've probably gotten at least 100 Two-Handed Disappointments though. I don't know why I even bother picking them up, lol.
It's fun to troll people. Get some frostburn gauntlets, don't ID them, then drop them just as your group kills an elite.
It is quite funny watching people scramble for it. Especially if it is an andy's helm. Oh that one gets them good. "omg could be a mempo!"

I don't think you can pickup unID'd items from someone else? I accidentally dropped some one day and someone else tried to pick them up and wasn't able to. Unless they dropped it instantly after picking it up. It looked as though they didn't even get it.
A friend of mine and myself used to drop the staff of herding items to see who would try to grab it. Ahh, those were the days. I still have several of them in my box and toss them on the ground just to hear that *BLANG* and pretend the Mako Reactor is powering up the cannon.

When items drop from mobs/bosses, only you can grab initially.
Once you grab them and then re-drop them, anyone can grab it, unIDed, or not.
However, there are certain items that can't be picked up by others (staff of herding, etc), but I think they changed it to where you can't even re-drop account bound uniques on the ground...correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a long time since I've played.
I am loving WD more and more... firebats + zombie dogs + sacrifice is awesome. i am always running around with 5 stacks of soul harvest and 5 stacks of gruesome feast... 117k unbuffed dps, 210k fully buffed. i may switch the zombie dogs rune to Provoke the Pack for an additional 5-15% dps increase as well.
I miss using my WD, I've barely used him since hitting 100. Was a fun trip getting there. I have all 4 other classes going right now, and my fave is the WD. No one else can clear a pack of elites quicker, in my experience. When geared correctly, of course.

I take it one of those classes isn't a smash barb then. >_> I destroy elites solo. I can't imagine doing it much faster.
I wish I could Cyclone Strike on my monk but I feel like it's really limited by the number of enemies it can pull in (or maybe I'm spoiled by Ancient Spear lol), though it would be enough for a group of rares or elites I suppose. I think I'd have to drop Exploding Palm or Breath of Heaven for it; EP is half the reason I'd even want to use it and losing BoH is giving up monk's 'battle rage' essentially as well as Guiding Light in a group setting. Though could rune CS for the heal for Guiding Light I suppose.
Fully buffed I am close to 400k. I will have to check exactly. That is with an EF and a mighty weapon as well, so my smash isn't as hard hitting, but much quicker. MP8, I can clear an elite pack without shielding in a few seconds. I am also built for a pure WW spec, so I have tons of crit and enough APS to hit the breakpoint I am after.How much dps is your smash barb fully buffed? Mines at @ 300+ buffed, doesn't take down elites quicker than my wd's bears @ 200 or so dps. Actually, my wd is usually buffed up to around 250 or so with souls harvested.
EP isn't good in group play because if only explodes for the HP before the group buff. In single play, it is wonderful because you can kill packs by killing a single mob, however, in group it just isn't as efficient as cycloning them all in.
