Had some fun yesterday doing ATOT MP10 runs. I think I levelled 3 times yesterday.

I didn't realize the groups I was invited to over the weekend were the folks who posted here. Good times on mp10!

I was experiencing some bad lag yesterday, I thought was due to graphics and CM wiz stuff, but turns out my CM macro was causing this. I guess pressing 2,3,4 100 times a second is not good for performance.

That group we had killed the server, lolol. That was crazy though. I never saw such jittered lag response before in this game. Once we all had our stuff going I just imagined the server crapping itself. It was without fail everytime we ran into more than 10 monsters at once. I was actually starting to avoid big groups with everyone else just so the server wouldn't crap out, lol.

if it has a socket, it's worth a lot. if it doesnt have a socket, its still worth something.

I'm sure they all have sockets, and that's worth a lot. WD's love it for the low attack speed meaning less mana hog, and I would imagine archon Wiz's wouldn't mind it either. Would be great to neutralize reflects with that LS and just for plain survival.

There was one time in the weeping hollow where all my textures went funny. Half the monsters didn't render correctly, and the lighting on the ground made it look like it was day time.

We just ended up with like massive DDoS. I think CM Wiz tornadoes in a large group really stresses the server, especially when there are two wizards.

With such high dps, high int roll, high crit dam, and a decent life steal roll, that is worth quite a bit.

I been doing the dh gas nade tank build lately with my dh, and its breathe some new life into her. Having a lot of fun with it. Also been ding the ray of frost sleet ice build+ arcane mines. Anyone else doing any uncommon builds?

I've been trying hybrid builds to what I've done in the past that's worked. It was interesting running yesterday with FoT to jump into the middle of packs, then CW once there and cyclone spam+awe.

The other different monk build I always try going back to - but it never impresses me very much - is fire damage build: MoE: Backlash, SW: fire, and EP: Essence Burn. It just seems to be too much work for doing roughly the same damage as the typical FoT, SW: Cyclone. Part of the problem is the damage from fire skills isn't on par.

I really wish there was all of the elements assigned to runes for a majority of the primary skills for each class to allow much more diversity. I like trying different builds with elemental damage bonus weapons or armor, but in the end, if it's not going to be worth my while in terms of damage output then it's only fun for trying it, and not actually using.

My brother loved his throw barbie back when he played. It certainly worked well with any party makeup, too. WW barbs tend to just leave most people in the dust and not clear the entire zone. (I had 3 barbs with me yesterday doing this...no plan of attack on zone clear, just running around to the next batch of monsters leaving 3-5 mostly dead and missing giant packs in uncovered areas of the map leaving me there to solo the bunch...mindless fools, mindless I say!)

That's why I'm still on my monk; promotion of group play and organization is key to me. It's really rewarding. ^^

I never get to run with a bell build because without cyclone, it's just a nuisance to the party; and doing both with awe is a little too taxing. Next time I run with another monk I'd like to try that though. I had a monk bud that I used to run with and he'd bell right after I would awe and cyclone and things just died instantly. We had excellent synergy like that. Need to do that again!

WW barbs piss me off. I refuse to use that build, because they're infuriating. Spinning all over the map, not really killing much and generally leaving giant mobs for the rest of the group to solo. Aside from that, every barb in fucking history is a WW barb.

I'm a straight smash barb. Bash + Hammer + Rend + WOTB. And not a cheap ass that tries to keep WOTB on permanently.

I don't like playing with people who use a high fear EF. All of my damage as a DH is area damage. When the EF scatters bat guys all over the place, it makes killing things painful.

I had a good run yesterday too with a monk, WD, wiz, and me (DH).

I used the marked for death - valley of death on wherever the monk was and he'd cyclone. Marked for death makes all the enemies each take +12% dmg, and then I can launch in with the peeing fireballs of death to hit everything at once. It was pretty fun.

Its insane how efficient that is, and the monk cyclone can keep elites juggled to keep them from spamming their spells.

Cyclone monks are a CoB WD's best friend, pulling monsters into the blender when I'm standing there channeling CoB. Only slightly annoying part was EF fearing things away, but other than that, the combination is really efficient for killing things.
