Monk builds don't really mesh good until you get the gear to back them up. I remember before the Inferno nerf building a pure defensive LoH monk to beat the game. It was brutal in how long it took, but I was nearly invincible.

Well I just ran through MP10 normal. I found a spectrum that is pretty OP once you hit L30. I basically two-shotted everything, including azmodan. I'd just make sure overawe was on, then hit the guy with exploding palm and then drop a bell. Done.

I bought Diablo 3 a month or so after release, played a barbarian through normal, and quit for a while out of boredom. I came back a while later and played him through the first act and half of the second act on nightmare, and then quit for a while, again out of boredom. I've played a monk up to level 14 on hardcore. I tried playing a demon hunter for a while. I got a witch doctor up to 10 before deleting it.

I made a wizard today and played through to level 8. I received my town portal ability and stopped playing for the day. I am enjoying it this far, much more than I can remember ever enjoying playing my barbarian. Hopefully I have found a class that I can play through to inferno so that I finally get my money's worth out of this damn game!!

I rolled a male / female of each class to 60. I deleted the male Wizard to keep room for my HC toon.

Now, I am trying to level my female Barbarian BUT her running animation is awful to me. I think I am going to delete her and start another male Barbarian.

I had something weird happen today. I was playing A1, had 5 stacks, and D3 just up and crashed on me. That hasn't ever happened before, but whatever.

So I restarted the game, and went to join a public MP9 A1 game and got right back in with the same group. When I got in the game, I had all 5 stacks still. *shrug*

I think I'm gonna do my P100 run tonight. I've got 4 bars left to go. Anyone want to join? silverpig#1720

Okay got my monk levelled up to 60. I moved most of my DH equipment over to him, and got the shenlong's set for weapons. 146k dps I think right now. I'd like to get him up a little higher.

Blizzard is doing a collaborative legendary design with the community to demonstrate the process they go through. Starting this week they have vote up for what weapon type it should be.

Sounds like a cool idea to me. Will have to see what comes out of it

I contributed to a reddit thread about this. Here are a few ideas:

Ring of Power
Ring

*main stat
*3 random affixes
*the last 3 buffs you received do not expire
Basically, buffs from yourself, team (war cry etc) or shrines do not expire. Operates on a FIFO logic where new buffs replace old ones. This also limits the number of active buffs to 3.


Bazooka Joe
Amulet

8-10% atk spd
*main stat
*2 random affixes
*Your damage is increased by 15% for each player in your group
*Your group takes 5% weapon damage from you as friendly fire for each player in your group

Potential for dumb asses to abuse the friendly fire, but it might be neat.

Hadn't played in like 15 months but finally have a decent PC again. Got my monk to 60, bought 500m gold to play catch up on gear. Worth the 15 bucks. Up to P25 now and got a DH to 60 in 15 hours. Learning the market a bit and have grown wealth up to 100m by trading.

Anyways, handling mp7 pretty easily, starting to dabble in mp8 if peeps here still play. Will probably lvl a witch doctor and maybe more before the expansion.

With Enchanting, you will be able to reroll one property on a Rare or Legendary item simply by speaking to Myriam, opening up her Enchant menu, and then paying a material cost. It's that easy!
While not all properties can be rerolled, most can, and you'll be able to reroll a single property over and over again, as many times as you like. This allows Enchanting to feel meaningful, while still allowing lots of room for you to hunt for even better base items (which, of course, you can then Enchant into even more powerful items, and so on).

Since the resulting property you receive during Enchanting will be random, it's possible that the new properties you're provided may end up being less desirable to you than the one you are replacing. But fear not! In order to mitigate this type of buyer's remorse, Myriam will also offer the previous property in the list of options when using Enchanting. So if you don't like the new property that Enchanting offered you, you can always choose to keep the old one.

Keep in mind that when choosing which property you wish to reroll, you will only be able to reroll that one property from then on out. After a single property has been changed via Enchanting, all other properties will become "locked in" and cannot be rerolled. Also, once you Enchant an item, it will become bound to your account and can no longer be traded to other players.

Wow, sounds like a lot of if's and's and quid-pro-quos that are ultimately summed (read LOCKED) up by this statement.

maybe I am just jaded by all of the hoops that this game puts on you just to have what little bit of fun there is, but is it really going to be more fun with yet more locks and conditions?

The point of enchantment (and the account bound crafting) is to give people a different avenue to obtain equipment beyond just drops without having a pronounced negative effect on the economy. And it's really pretty simple.

Absolutely, I love the fact that enchanting locks in the item. Allows people to obtain items that are slightly less than perfect and reroll them, or to make their great items even better.
