I did 2 rifts last night and got nothing but a forgotten soul, did the 10 double reward bounties in the game and got a (Lightning) Stone of Jordan, Vigilante Belt, Mad Monarchs Scepter & a 9% Helltrapper.

Some of the legendary resources are still hard to get even with the drop rate buff.

Maybe I'm just the odd duck but I don't care about the drop rates because what happens when you to out? You stop playing.

I'd rather play for 50-100 hours and get one good upgrade then small incrementally good ones

Some of us were playing 50-100 hours for a small incremental upgrade. It is going to be even worse now without trading.

Yea. It was almost a guaranteed soul on rift guardians before. I was getting a decent stash of them. Now I haven't gotten one since the buff.

Bought the expansion Friday. Call me very impressed. Leveled up a crusader and got a lucky level 70 legendary 2 hander mace just as I reached 70. Created the reapers bracers and also found a nice glove legendary just before leveling, and then a 70 amulet legendary minutes after leveling. 4 orange items already. Also been stockpiling the rift keys, so I have enough to do some 25 or so rifts. I really enjoy the crusader play style so far- lots of big cooldowns.

To give you an idea of how unique mob farming could be effective I recorded my last three runs before the hotfix last night:

This was after Tuesday's patch that tried to nerf Manglemaw, but before the hotfix late last night that actually did.

I really enjoy the crusader play style so far- lots of big cooldowns.

The only problem that I have is that when I get a Cursed Chest with a "kill waves" or "kill lots of mobs before the time runs out" condition, sometimes, I have trouble completing the event. I use Justice with Burst (very weak AoE component) and Blessed Shield with Combustion (strong AoE but costs 30 out of 130 Wrath), and that never seems to be enough or I get lucky and finish just in time. My big AoE CDs are Condemn with the instant rune and Falling Sword with Scorched Earth. Sometimes, I switch Falling Sword to the rune that reduces the cooldown depending on how many enemies you hit.

Anyway, I'm thinking about switching over to a more AoE-centric Wrath generator like Slash or Smite, or maybe I should use Consecrate instead of Shield Glare? I use Shield Glare with the +20% damage rune, which is nice for elites... especially in groups.

They introduced a new "noob filter". It blocks all noobs from their characters. Sorry, guess you didn't make the cut. =(

It seems about the same for me, but I've gone 6+ rifts in a row without getting one before so it can be somewhat streaky it seems.

I played Diablo 3 on the PS3 and I like it. Now that I just order my new PC, I also order me a copy, but the Reaper of Soul version. I just recently found out that I won't be able to use a controller for the game and also I won't be able to play co op same screen with people, so I'm a little bit bum out. I might ended up selling it.

Its online only on pc so there is always coop opportunity.

Not a huge deal, just one missed lvl 70 guaranteed legendary, but you got a 67 one .

Regarding lowered level reqs once again...got a 2400+ dps Schaefer's Hammer with level 42 req. My Monk certainly liked it...heh. Cost me a Forgotten Soul to re-enchant to dex but he's very happy with it right now.

Last night was my night for rifts. In a single rift I found 1 set, 3 legs and a Forgotten Soul. Most of the time I at minimum I found 1 leg/set + FS, although once or twice I didn't get anything.

Overall though I probably averaged a combination of 2 sets/legs/FS per run.

Found a 2nd piece to the Firebird set which gives me 500 int. Was also able to finally re-roll a good stat on my helmet. I also have 1 or 2 items in my chest waiting for rerolls that I found.

FWIW - I played with 3 other people almost the entire time on Torment II.

Oh I also gambled 2 leg sources, however both were junk.

Is the lvl 70 leg the same drop every time or class specific? ie I would have to lvl a Barb again to 70 to get the drop?

I think most people get 2 or 3 drops. And usually it is class specific, but I don't think that is guaranteed.

If you only bought RoS, then you won't be able to play still. You will need to buy the original D3 for PC as well.

I found a Thunderfury last night with my wizard. Not a particularly good one though. Decent enough for my Monk once he hits 70, but not better than the staff I'm running that lets me spawn dual Hydras to use it on my wizard. Unfortunately I'll have to re-roll it for Dex, even though it needs work on another stat as well. Better than getting The Executioner for the 5000th time though!
