Did not realize the leg buff was on, first time logging in go to clear the ~500 shards I have...never got a gamble legendary and within 300 shards get a meh leg chest and a pretty good set pant.

The buff does not apply to Kadala.

It's called random ;-) I've spent 1500 shards on helms with zero leg/set as a result :-(

Your wrong. It's called RNGesus. Random and RNG are totally different things.

I'm playing in groups at T2 with ease, thinking of bumping up to T3 to see if drop rates are better. I must have had about 6 set pieces drop today and over 15 legendaries - nothing remotely useful aside from the boots.

I've been using electrocute/frozen orb since the expansion really, and find it really suited to my playstyle, but I can't get ahold of a Winter Flurry, or other gear that'd really let me push +cold. I have quite a bit of +lightning (64, plus + electrocute (23) = 87% on electrocute), which ends up working quite well with my weapon (fulminator) and my ring (wyrdward)

But a couple of times in my groups (even though I think my gear is decent, and the build does quite well in group play) I get quite a few comments about my 'profile being "noob"'.

I have never seen a fire wizard - most other wizards I see are arcane these days.

Essentially: I'm asking what you wizards do to push up to T5-T6. My toughness is way too low. I don't think I can with a lightning/frost build, or perhaps I'm missing a few key pieces of equipment. Spec change, gear change; both, to go to a higher Torment level?

Basically anything you can click on that has a chance to pop gold or items out of (loose stone, etc.).

Yep. And 10s buff is a lot for ranged classes. Got it on my wizard and I mow down things so fast, it's incredible. Dead bodies, loose stones, chests, armor stands... The only things that don't trigger the buff is things that drop books (a few dead bodies do too).

I balance survival skills with offense. Also a Mirrorball helps you save ap. in fact magic missile is my main skill now.

If Ur a WD, save that big dog ring. He is better than the garg. Attacks more consistently, and crits for 30-40M for me. My pets build is pretty much complete. I could use an smk, but renho is just as good if not better, I think. Just wanna test Jade set, and I can move on to other toons. Think I will work on Barb next. Lut socks and eq looks fun. Pets + turret from DH looks fun to though.

Sigh, I have my DH which is solid in T3 4 player, my monk which can hang in T3 4 player but has low damage, and my wizard which is pretty decent in T3 but squishy. WD, crusader, and barb are barely T1 viable.

Are you serious? I think I have the ring but critting for 30mill? That's insane. Whats your stats? and what stats do you have on your zombie dog ring? I can't test it today because I'm afk for today. :$

My Crusader can do T1 without much trouble at all. The thing is, it's nigh impossible to kill him... and it's rather slow for him to kill anything. According to my character sheet in game, I have 11 million toughness!! So, I mean... you could probably prep the Crusader pretty easily. As you can see, mine is still mostly yellows!

I think I've finally gotten my Barbarian to where he could probably do T1. Yes, I know I haven't gemmed his chest, but that's because I don't know what I want to do with it yet. Anyway, it seems that you usually get the huge boost that you need if you just get a good weapon! One nice choice is to go for weapons that already have sockets and maybe change intellect/dexterity to strength (if necessary). That weapon that my Barbarian has? I found that on my Monk! ...or you could just run normal stuff?

Are you serious? I think I have the ring but critting for 30mill? That's insane. Whats your stats? and what stats do you have on your zombie dog ring? I can't test it today because I'm afk for today. :$

I think about 700 paper dps, physical damage stacked, using renho, so I spend 0 mana. 85 percent pet damage mask and 47 percent trifecta tnt. The big dog is serious. + with uk serpant, you get damage reduction from dogz+I use the rune with damage reduction from my dog. How much better is Jade set than pets?

Tall Man's Finger rocks. My Dog is hitting critting for 40 Million as well as my Garg. I'm running the same mojo that digiram is running.

Lot of uproar on the D3 forum from people complaining that WD is now overpowered which is a bit ridiculous. It has taken me countless hours to get my MoJ, T&T, UK Serpant, and Tall Man's Finger for this build to hit this well.

Secondly, moving up into T5/T6, this build doesn't work nearly as well as it does at lower torment levels. Most of the WD at high Torments are using R'heno Flayers with Addling Toads and are not using Dogs at all.

Wasted all my souls and all my gold last night trying to roll vitality off my thunderfury for damage+. Got Vitality, Life on Hit or Vitality, Resource Cost Reduction every damn time. What kills me is the vitality rolls were all LOWER than the current vitality on the item. That makes no damn sense at all. Now it costs so damn much to roll on that item that it will be days before I can try again. After I ran out of gold, I got fed up, closed the game and went to play Marvel Heroes.

If you have the maurader set, and spec for toughness, the dh is just as good if not better than the wd. Especially when turrets are launching cluster bombs and multishot for free + you can have up to 5 turrets doing work for you while you sit there and watch elites melt. There is no need for nerfing, buff everyone else up.

Okay, so I played in the D3 beta back before original launch, wasn't really into the artistic direction they took, but now I have like three different friends playing, all asking me to play with them. So downloaded the demo last night, started up a monk, got through the first starter zone, to the first waypoint, called it a night.

Any advice for a complete newb starting a fresh game? I played COUNTLESS hours of D1 & D2 back in the day, used to play WoW quite a bit, so i know the basics of gameplay. Guess I'm really looking for advice on best class to start with, skills to focus on, etc.

So I log in almost every day and play a set of bounties and a rift.
I've done about 70 bounties since release and I have yet to get a legendary reward.
I also have yet to get anything from Kadala.
So I pretty much play for an hour, get one legendary 2-hand drop that I salvage and quit.

Am I doing something wrong?
