Tried out torment 1 and wasn't too bad. Those damn pink rotating laser balls suck! What kind of damage are they?

You're not just standing in the beams as them come across are you?

You either need to add more resists, or just work on moving out of the paths of the beams more.

I'm working on my fire build. Just need a few more +fire pieces. I have the Earth set and IK set.

no, i try to move out but sometimes its difficult due to being frozen or walled in, or stuck in the middle of a huge crowd of enemies and can't get out.

I seem to have hit a point where I am not getting any useful items. Everything I get is either +defense, +healing, or +attack. Rarely do I get anything that has + to 2 things, and if it does, its usually defense and healing. If I do find something with +attack, it's like +.1% but then does -10% defense, so not even worth using.

Hell, even the legendaries I find are worse off than what I have.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from Kadala but its always junk.


All my jewelry is still rare, my head, shoulders, and bracers are rare. Can't remember if my belt is rare. i think my pants are rare also.

Is vyrs set extremely rare? Spent about 5k shards on pants, ran into two hexing pants before I finally got vyrs. Probably spent about 10k on boots to get em. Now trying to get the gloves. Not even sure why I'm doing this. Wiz is still gonna be garbage. Wiz and Barb. The pre 2.0 favs just getting shafted right now.

Maybe part of the prob is that I'm not playing wiz much at all and just using shards on her.

Set a new record for pylon lameness. Cleared the rift and there was a conduit pylon right next to a power pylon. The only kills were the elites the pylons spawned. LAME.

I guess it depends what you want from the class. I think prior to the frozen orb nerf, a wizard clear rate (trash) was as good as a Witch Doctor's. As things are now, I don't think so, and the single target dps isn't close at all. From what I can see, Wizards are effectively pigeonholed into a spender variant of Magic Missle + Mirrorball, and it'll be even more of this case after 2.1 where the 'free channeled' spells will take 30ap to start (so if you're like me and you stutter step sometimes, to move out of poison pools etc, and attack - you'd run out of ap very quickly before even casting your real spenders).

Having said that I do think it is a fun class to play, but I'm looking at greater rift solo replays and it seems like other classes simply dominate in comparison - wizards don't come close to top wds/dhs etc.

Leveled a WD to 70 this weekend, made it to 69 running story mode on master where monk had troubles running story mode on hard. Started running A1 bounties. Second run on that character, RRoG dropped from cache. TallBill saw it on clan chat.

Got the vyrs glove from Kadala finally, and a moonlight ward dropped in my next run. So, I had a little Archon fun last night.

Still no smk or wow or rimeheart though, but at least I have all the sets for each class now. So, all my shards will be going into 1-h weps now.

Anyhow, I've been doing T6 pubs lately and why are there noobs always hanging around looking to get carried, but they're not willing to open the rift? I see under geared noobs, and I'll carry if they open, but if not.. it's on to another session.

Damn.. Got another TnT from Kadala while gambling on vyrs gloves. Also got 2 hex pants before she gave me vyrs pants.

I run nothing but T6 on my wd, sader, and monk now. So gold and shards have been stacking fast.

I've been one piece away from a jade WD for a while now. I get repeats of existing jade pieces, other set pieces in that slot, barb set pieces, but no jade boots.

And no RoRG either

EDIT: AH HA! I KNEW I had found an RoRG somewhere! It was on my DH which I played when RoS came out, got to 70, and haven't used since It's dex, CD, AS, and LoH... just gonna re-roll the dex to int and I'll be off

I've been having some bad luck pubbing lately. Last night there was a well geared crusader in a T4 rift, with someone who turned out to be his buddy - a naked level 70 barbarian with around 30 paragon points. The barb kept dying repeatedly, and when I asked him to put on gear he said he didn't have any. I ended up dying (got careless) and lost a bunch of exp pool stacks, and when I did a 'vote kick' I ended up getting booted from the group, after the crusader kept saying "I'm carrying no worries he's eating pizza" (for 30 minutes).

And I find supremely undergeared people even at T3 - I jumped to T6 to check and they are still there, 40 paragon level people in mostly yellows that would have difficulty in T2-T3, citing 1m self buffed sheet dps as justification for their being in T6 etc, heh.


And, finding a Winter source on your WD is...grrrr...

Can someone better explain the split bounties? I joined one the other night I went to a different zone than the rest of people but then another guy joins my zone and completes it. We finish the whole zone and everybody just seem to leave but I can't see where they went. One asking what I was doing I said I don't know and they just left the group.

Split bounties - basically the group each selects different targets, all assist on final boss fight, the back to town to get cache. Leave the game as soon as get cache. Should still be in group at that point. Leader starts a fresh game and away you go again.

Only pick up rare/legendary items at most - so much stuff will be falling it's not even funny. Courtesy dictates you clear out inventory at start of fresh game, don't even look at items until then, speed is the name of the game.

Others will only join your target if you haven't finished when they all complete theirs.

In the interest of speed, basically you just run through the packs of mobs looking for the target, not clearing the zone at all (complete bounty and move on to boss fight).

I was sorta 'that guy' last night - paragon 30-40 WD, joined a buddy in an open T2 rift along with 2 other random people. Everybody else was 100+ paragon, I struggled to even clear 1-2 trash mobs at a time, laughable contribution to dps on elites/bosses.

But ... first legendary drop of the evening ... was a SoJ!! So now since hitting 70 this weekend I have already found RoRG and SoJ within three days. Kind of insane I guess. RNGesus must love me or something.

If you join a public game on Normal, it's almost guaranteed everyone will do A1 bounties. Therefore, once the game starts, just warp to any bounty that's not currently occupied and finish it. Move on to another one if there are any, or help others finish theirs. Once that's done, grab the cache, sell/salvage/repair, and then leave the game. Rinse/Repeat.

Gambling from her doesn't matter, supposedly. But, they ninja nerfed her drop rate a bit ago (or possibly fixed it). The number of blood shards you get are increased by difficulty though.

Heck I find anything over T1 is to slow for me I have done T2 but fall back looking for better gear I have yet to try T3 and I'm paragon 112.
