Played some this weekend, been a couple of weeks since last session. Started a HC DH, got up to like level 30 I think. Didn't realize until around level 20 that I could use a 2-hand bow with a quiver still equipped, got a lot easier after that, LOL.

Also around level 20 I started playing around with Strafe and then the game got stupid easy. Strafe through a pack, pop Preparation to refill Hatred (if needed) then run to the next pack. Cooldown is typically done by the time need it again. This is the fastest I have ever leveled a character, the ten levels from 20 to 30 went by without me hardly noticing.

I think it's just RNG messing with you man. I played on my newly 70 mage this weekend also with a buddy, in like 2.5 hours of play I got one legendary drop and he got four.

Hm. Kind of like Simplicity's Strength, not a bad balance between damage and sustain and monks spend a lot of time 'autoattacking'. Would benefit from a faster weapon instead of Odyn Son however - still haven't seen a WKL in the expansion, but I've gotten like just about every other fist weapon a few times lol.

And of course my friend's newbie monk finds one just a day or two into actually playing him in RoS lol.

Rng has been feast or famine for me lately. I need to lvl up another barb to 70 to see what cold quake is like.

disappointing. DPS is low and it's only really good for CCing. its decent support but mnks do it better and damage is not nearly as high as raekor's.

I've got decent raekors gear, but I can't get used to the play style. Kinda sad really, maybe I'll go DH till the next patch.

Players who use Crusader, what configuration do you use? I have a shield and one handed weapon but i am thinking i should switch to a shield and two handed weapon. What do you do? Anyone who forgoes the shield altogether?

I've got decent raekors gear, but I can't get used to the play style. Kinda sad really, maybe I'll go DH till the next patch.

ditto, even got vile wards and I still hate it. I hate the charging playstyle in general, especially when it carries no group synergy and I can't see my cursor half the time because of the seizure inducing explosions happening all over the floor. It's too precise and the "dragging" effect doesn't work half the time and you lose mobs.

Not to mention single target dps is horrendous but that's a different story.

Same. Vile ward, pride o Cassius, Maximus with ramadni's gift. Toughness is double that of my leap quake barb. Just can't get into it.

I use 3: Elemental Arrow (Frost Arrow), Cluster Arrow (Maelstrom), and Multishot (Arsenal). I use the Spitfire turret. I have a fairly decent Etrayu bow, and Tasker & Theo. I'm at the 3.33 sentry attacks per second break point (I think it's called the 2.84 BP).

Polar sentry rules. Everything else mentioned I use though.

I need a damn hellfire so I can add awareness and go higher with my dh. I don't wanna drop the SOJ to go the unity route.

I also need a hellfire for my wizard it seems. Finished a 36 grift with my firebird. Shooting for 37 this weekend.

This is the same build I run. I just had a Kridershot drop for me so I've started using it. I feel pretty good about my gear at the moment, I just need to get better stats on some pieces and to upgrade my legedary gems.

I have an amulet that I rerolled and got +20% Fire damage but I'm not sure if I should continue to reroll it until I get Cold damage/Crit Chance/Crit Damage.

Does the added fire damage help since I don't use the polar station sentry?

I usually go cc/cdmg/sock/main.

I'd actually prefer ele/cc/cdmg/sock but haven't found any jewelry with good rolls to do so since the new gems patch.

But yes, I'd roll Cold if you can.

Playing as a monk.

I had assumed that fist weapons were the way to go...but that doesn't appear to be the case. It's really weird how weapons work. Like, you can wield this huge 2-handed weapon as a monk but you still fight with your fists. Also, dual-wielding often decreases damage.

Monk feels similar to warrior...

If they're support they use flying dragon, chance to double your attack speed.

Question-ish: I have a Gidbin, and found a Sun Keeper. The Sun Keeper drops my paper DPS down about 6%. It also has +21% to elites. In spite of the Gidbin's special ability which lets me get fetishes going pretty quickly, the Sun Keeper is the way to go, right?

Sun Keeper is a top tier weapon, lot's of guys use this as end game for GR40+ on Wizard, not sure on WD though.

That's where I was leaning.

I'm using the Sun Keeper now and not noticing much of a difference on trash, but the elites are going down faster, and that's nice.

Rng good to me tonight, got the gift in a 23 greater rift after killing the rift boss.
