I really want the WD mojo (for the transmog), but I don't know how I feel about actually rolling a WD. If I don't go WD, it'll be monk for the new set and the exclusive weapon that complements it.

At least I'll be able to re-roll my DoD in NS after the patch drops. Just not sure I'll ever see a SMK at this rate. Even with the yellow re-roll recipe.

At least you gotta DOD, I finally found smk a few months back, but no dod yet at all. At least smk was ancient.

What's great about IKBB? I've had an ancient one for a while? What's going to be the best build for IK in 2.3?

Other than the best choice for 6ww/3ik? I finally got one to drop over the weekend and I went from barely clearing 46 to clearing 48 with plenty of time. I wanted to try for 49 or 50 before the patch but it's unlikely that will haplen. 2.3 looks like ik is going to be a contender with the SS 2h. It's much better for high GR's in a group setting. WW6/IK3 will probably be the top solo build.

The 'Nexus event' lasts until 10:00 AM, PDT, on September 8th.

It took me about two days and a half to get from Level 1 to 12 (that's your own Level, not the Hero's). I did play regularly, however, if I hadn't been in vacation it would have taken me a couple of extra days, but I'd still have managed before the expiration date. At Level 10 you automatically receive a "stimpack" which increases your EXP and your Gold during matches, and that bonus applies automatically as well (you don't have to "activate" the stimpack, you just reach Level 10, continue to play and the bonus is there, the bonus itself lasts for 7 days). So thanks to that reaching Level 12 is done fast enough. The game is actually rather fun too, it's not a boring "grind" and I prefer that new HOTS pennant over the one we received from Season 3 (that's subjective of course).

Ahhh, I see. I just started playing again, and meant to spend all my shards to try to get 6WW by farming with my DH. Instead, I spent it all trying to get the damn Nats legging that never fell. Kept on getting UE legs instead... grrr. I got the full IK set + one of those fury axes. Are they buffing seismic slam at all for 2.3 or should I just shoot for 6 ww?

Let me see if I got this straight (b/c for some reason, reading blizzard's post about if you're this level on this game, you get that thing got me confused lol).

If I own Diablo 3 game on PC -> I get Diablo char in HotS for free
If I rank up to player level 12 on HotS -> I get portrait frame and pennant in Diablo 3
If I hit level 70 season 4 character on Diablo 3 -> I get special mount in HotS

Is that right? Seems easily doable, but I still have 4 levels to go in HotS (i just started), and hopefully getting to level 70 in D3 will be easy.

Season 3 has ended. It's the clan message.

I'll be excited to see how my barb does with a cubed RoRG, hexing, and furnace. And re-roll my Bul-Kathos. I was stupid with them.

And I'll re-roll my DoD a couple times if I'm able.

And my DH with a Krider in the cube so I can equip a much higher damage bow. Haven't been following DH, so I don't know what else is expected in the cube.

Season 3 ended Sunday afternoon, so the exclusives have been dropping for two nights now. 2.3 drops today, and Season 4 starts the 28th.

No. They're now dropping. I got the two S3 gems - Iceblink on my magnum opus/cold wizard seems like a solid combo. With cold damage slow time and frozen orb, it seems to make a nice synergy with cold-blooded.

I don't know for sure, but I would assume that 6ww will be the better set for running rifts and getting gear. IK6 might take over for GR/group play, I've seen promising things but I haven't had a chance to test anything out yet.

Last night got my nat leg, and 5 pieces of UE now + new DML, I was very happy. Looking forward to testing out new HT set bonus with my WD now. I heard Zombie Bears are back? I miss my bears.

you have to actually log into Hots to get it though, and there are also some hearthstone & WoW cross game items, along with the upcoming starcraft one.

I did the cube and crafted some weapons with it. I got an ancient BK Warrior's Blood in 33 tries and an ancient BK Solemn Vow in 155 tries.

If you want a weapon, go to the blacksmith and make a level 70 yellow of the one you want then cube it to legendary.

I burned through about 10k reusable parts and a lot of other crafting mats.

Before I did the crafting, I ran a GR 52, 53 and 54 with no problems using IK/WotW.

I saw the patch dropped and I've been away for some time... Can somebody give the crib notes of what can safely be sold/salvaged from pre-2.3 stuff? For example, can I sell all rift keystones or should I hold on to them? Should all my pre-2.3 legendary items be salvaged since new items will be better? Basically I'm wondering how to quickly make room in my stash without nuking something I might still need. Thanks!

So I started to play again. I immediately cranked it up to Torment 10, went to the Act III Ruins for the Cube. It was a bit more difficult than I expected but I managed (no death). It's fun to see those big ice 'yeti' monsters again too (I remember them from Act 5 D2 in the ice cavern maps). Anyway, so I get to a point where I encounter a female Barbarian mini boss (I think her name is Tala?). She 1-shot me so fast I was still pressing skill keys never realizing I was actually dead. I respawn on corpse, she one-shots me again, damn, tough girl. I respawn, pop Akarat's Chmapion, she charges me and I instantly die again.

Welp, had to lower Torment to 8, haha. Now that's what I call a Barb!

The Rift Keystones can (and should) be sold to merchants now. There's even a recommendation to do so in the item's description. Since now all you do to go in a regular Rift is to click the Obelisk and choose Rift at the top and it just opens a Rift portal. As for your other questions, well, concerning the pre-2.3 Legendaries, you might want to hold on to the ones that happen to have a Legendary power that you might end up extracting eventually. If not, you can definitely salvage them for the Souls, because some of the Cube's recipes cost a significant number of them (some recipes require 50 Forgotten Souls).

Got my GR55 solo today.

Elites just melt with Bane of the Powerful gem and Furnace cubed.

With Hexing pants cubed, CoE ring proc'd, Bane of the Powerful gem proc'd and WotB up, consistent 1.5billion crits...one after another after another etc...

Question: Did they remove the 400% dmg pylon? Played all night and didn't run into one at all.

Have you done the math, is it less materials to reroll the weapon, or random roll an upgrade?

Reforging a legendary takes mats from each act. My way was faster as I had 20k+ of each mat.

I would say yes... Though I prefer Path of Exile to both. Might give season 4 a try here though!

T8 and T10 give 8 total.

How do you get to the new area (Ruins of Sescheron)? Is it a completely new Act or is it a new area in one of the existing Acts? Can you only get to it in Adventure mode, or is there a reason to go there if you're playing through the story?

Yes, in the adventure mode just go to Act III and there's a new area at the top right of the map. Just go there, find the entrance to the second level, and the cube is in there somewhere, just click on it. I don't think they're incorporating it into the story mode, but I could be wrong.
