T8 and T10 give 8 total.
Oh, really? Might as well just do it in T7 then.

The bonus cache is guaranteed if you collect them in bonus order.
Is Diablo III Reaper of Soul edition better than Torchlight II?
To aquire Kanai's Cube, visit Zoltun Kulle in New Tristram, Hidden Camp Bastion's Keep Stronghold, or The Survivor's Enclave in Adventure Mode. He'll be quite pleased to guide you on your way.
Patch notes seem pretty crystal clear to me lol
So, the whole legendary effect thing... do you essentially toss a legendary into Kanai's Cube to destroy it for the effect? So, if I had a poorly-rolled Thunderfury, I could just toss it in and gain the effect. Although, I'm not sure how to apply it as I haven't destroyed any legendaries yet.
Yes. You can apply the legendary property from the cube window. You're limited to three properties per character: one for armor, one for jewelry, and one for a weapon. And to top it off, the applied property is the maximum that it could have rolled.
Oh, that's pretty nifty. So, are there any properties that most people are aiming to use? I assume that Unity could be an interesting ring property as it could allow an entire party to outfit themselves with damage sharing?
Now, I also got a legendary item that can add a socket to an unsocketed weapon. Since a socket is normally an item that you can get from a reforge, does the socket item overwrite one of your bonuses?
Yup, just hit the act with bonus first, and then after you turned it in, the bonus will jump to all different act. Just keep doing it so you could get bonus caches from all of them.
I've been out of the loop for awhile and just now came back and tried out 2.3. Got the cube and just reading through the things you can do with it.
So for the extract legendary power thing, my main is a wizard. I have a mirrorball with +2 magic missile. If I extract that power, am I then allowed to equip another off-hand item (ex: Triumvarate) and then equip the magic missile power as well?
Yes. That's what I did on my opus wizard. I was already using a triumverate source. Cubed the crappy mirrorball I was saving and now effectively have both legendary powers.
First 100 items not bad, a lot of craft mats and gems, so those went into the bank easily. Lot of the rest of legs stored just to complete the cub collection so will need to do some more bounty grinding to empty that space.
Was going through and starting the process after doing a full run last night, decided to do granduer, hex pants, and furnace as my three used. Guess it was a good random picks on my part as reading on best chances afterwards has these as a top 2 selection across the board.
Glad I didn't shard all the extra set items I had gotten, didn't read about the change set item transmute. Assuming this could also possibly include becoming ancient? Otherwise it would lose some of the value (in my instance anyway).

Yes, furnace will give you 50% elite damage regardless of the weapon you're currently using. Can furnace be cubed into a 1-hand spear? Like scrimshaw?
But you can reforge the item once you get the set piece you need. I can't imagine it will be cheap but it is possible. When transforming a set piece, the recipe specifically states that it won't roll ancient.
