Interesting. Does the 3 seconds off, 3 seconds on really have that much of an effect on high grfits? Or does the permanent 5% cc get in the way enough times?

I'm just now seeing the CoE Uliana build. Since I'm missing so much gear, I guess I'll just see where I land between the two. If I go CoE, I don't see myself caring enough to manually apply EP when cold comes around.

I'll chalk it up to skill more than lack of ancients, but I've never cleared greater than 47 on any class. If I can even get into the 50's solo, I'll be happy.

Well it's not so much the duration but rather it can be unreliable to proc even with only 5% crit (and there's no buff icon afaik which is inconvenient). Since it checks in windows any single crit in a window (regardless of how many non-crits occur) will reset the counter. So it's kind of like "attack for 1.25s without getting any crits" more than "don't crit 5x in a row".

I think CoE is prefereable in the long run, though I've had friends play both ways. One was BP up into the 50s at least.

And with CoE you don't need to manually apply palm (though it may be beneficial if you're using Mythic Rhythm) you just need to make sure you're using a Madstone (which applies Palm on SSS) or Gungdo Gear (and just apply palm with the 2set bonus).

I've been playing with pandemonium on Seasons. I have an ok heal/xp monk. I believe we cleared a 50 with 3 of us. If you need a heal/xp for Seasons/NS, hit me up.

So...I think I'm going to regear for no broken promises for solo progression. It works really well for anything below GR60 since things die quick enough. 60+ it's just too unreliable when you're constantly having 30+ monsters on your screen.

It's still pretty good in groups, but I can see with a 4 man group, maybe around GR70 would be the limit for using it as well.

Broken Promises is really useless once you get fully geared though, you should be pushing close to 50% crit and crit has huge diminishing returns over 50%. The math is out there somewhere, but this is why you see top guys rolling 50% chd over CC on rings that you can only have one.

CoE is huge if you can time the buff you are looking for correctly, it's good for a 2-3 GR levels once you get above 60.

If there was some sort of cheap spender you could spam (without interrupting your generator too significantly) then I think you could almost make a case for a Zodiac ring cubed with Uliana - it'd probably even open up a gem slot for something other than Gogok and CDR on gear would be more subjective. I did it for a little while because I didn't have FnR or natural U6 so I was wearing RRoG/CoE with the lightning cyclone strike to proc Zodiac. Wasn't terrible.

If you're feeling really brave you could even drop Epiphany so that the only CD Zodiac can reduce is SSS. Spend enough time in SSS animation and maybe you don't need Desert Shroud lol.

I am PL 287 on seasons and need a second Unity bad. I have yet to find a gift as well. I have completed GR 44 with very little ancient gear (belt and bracers) while struggling to get gear upgrades. I have spent almost all my bloodshards on pants trying for ancient IK / WotW pants and have only gotten ancient Raekor's in over 14k shards spent on pants. This season has been a drag so far on gear.

I play solo mostly.

Ha! For me, it's all RNG after a certain point. I got close on a 61, but then I have a 59 that beats me like a rented mule.

I'm impressed that I can comfortably run grift 30 with only five pieces of uliana (no rorg). I might even be able to push a little higher, but I haven't tried yet. Can't wait to just leap up the grifts after completing the set, getting F+R, fist of az, gungdo, and flow of eternity.

I never have more than 10 souls for long because I keep trying to re-roll my worst set piece to get that stupid head.

I am done with re-rolling set items. I spent about 2-300 souls doing that with my barb and wd to get 1 piece, and ended up not getting them and then Kadala gives them to me anyway..go figure. Never again, lol.

Save souls to re-forge weps only and do minor adjustments to items.

I mean, I've got two new set pieces from re-rolling dupes.

I don't really feel that I'm wasting my souls. I just hoped that I'd have a full set by now. My plvl is still under 200, and I've been solo for a large chunk of that, so I'm still pleased that I have as much as I do.

As annoying as trying to finish the set might be right now, I know that trying to re-roll my weapons and gamble for jewelry and stuff is going to be much more annoying.

Bump. I re-rolled a set piece again, and got my sixth piece!

Probably cost ~100 souls, all told.

But, time as it is, I haven't tried it out yet. I'll be giving it a run and trying a short grift push today.

Going to make the gungdo, fist, and flow my next priorities, in that order. Then comes the fun part of re-rolling them for ancients. I at least have a backup claw to make it easier for that one.

Re-rolling set pieces is definitely one of the best ways to fill in what you need to get a 6set. The recipe is quite cheap as well, though it does require that you actually get some set pieces to drop in the first place lol.

I wish the legendary re-roll recipe was a bit cheaper/different. All the bounty materials it requires is a real turnoff imo.

I probably won't be re-rolling legs for a while. Still need quite a bit of gear, and upgrading rares is also expensive.

Cleared a 35 solo, so I'll probably farm T7 for a bit and cube some more stuff (for seasonal journey). I need to build up my DBs again, anyway.

Had to take a break on seasonal till I can get longer stretches of time to sit an play it so I can spend time in group. My drop rate success in solo mode has been something envious of horrid.
