Honestly, that's on you. Blizzard only ever said 2017, they never once said it was coming this soon. They did say constantly that only a couple skills were implemented and the sets weren't even conceptually finalized.I suppose that I shouldn't have expected it, but it looks like the Necromancer won't make it for Season 9 (I didn't know S9 would start on Jan. 6th, I just saw that today). I'm just a bit confused though... are they... really going to release the Necromancer during S9? Or are they going to wait about three extra months for a release alongside Season 10 instead? I'm just not sure where they're going with this by not releasing it for S9. But I guess that the Necro is just not ready yet, and they're still working on balancing the class in general, or making unique items for them. Still... I'm disappointed I won't hide it.
Anyway. I'll still play some S9. I hope it's going to be better than S8. For me, S8 has been the worst Season so far. I played it a solid three weeks in a row (every day, at least around 3 hours a day even during the week, a bit more during weekends) and as of this typing I STILL haven't found the Ancient version of the only weapon I care to have for my Barb to progress further. But it's ok at this point since I stopped playing S8 about two weeks ago, burnt by grinding my mind out to get that single item and never getting it had its toll. I'm rejuvenating for S9 instead.
Quick question. Does D3 still require constant internet access? Played D2:LoD for over a decade non-stop, but when D3 was first released I didn't have access to the Internet and by the time I got a semi-decent connection, I was only planning on playing single player and there was no way in hell I was going to play a single player game with latency issues. Now that I have Comcast's best package I could play it no problem, but it's been so long I honestly don't really care anymore. I'd just like to have it since I love ARPGs, but I won't be buying it if it requires constant internet access because I'd like to be able to play it offline if my Internet goes out or when I travel.

I have a friend who can help you out with that, first find the event and you will get it done in no time.
That'd be appreciated; coming down to the wire here. I'll look for you when I get home from work after tonight.
It is really easy I have helped quite a few people to get it done.Yeah, I've done it before for previous seasons. Mantle and I attempted to get it done and he luckily found it on his first cast, but we only managed 280 kills or so since both of our specs aren't that great for it either.
I've already done the solo GR75, so I just need 1 conquest for the stash space this season. I haven't attempted the Boss Mode conquest since a few seasons ago, but I remember it being pretty difficult. I had assumed it would be just as difficult and require a full, really well organized party to get it done.
