New wave of invites, check your emails gentlemen.
I got mine on the 14th, but didn't notice it until late at night. It took forever to DL yesterday, so I haven't had much time to play it yet.
One thing I noticed it that is runs like ass when I have FSAA ticked on, so maybe the engine isn't optimized yet. Otherwise, it seems pretty fun, with classic D2 gameplay.
I like the conversations you have, and the talking journal entry thingies.
What I don't like are that there are only five inflexible classes, the skill sets seem pretty small, and you can't even choose your stats any more. Dumbing down a game and lack of customization options are bad things, in my book. This looks to be part-and-parcel of the questionable design decisions they have made with WoW in the last few years.
It kind of makes me glad that I don't have to fiddle with so much stuff in Diablo III. I spent over an hour just working out differences between gear in WoW last night using simulators, and I'd rather not get stuck with something like that in Diablo III.

Oops, I should have checked the date of the emailDo you mean another one after the 11/14 one or are you just late and inadvertently cockteasing me?
Anyone Pre-Order the collector's edition? It's available on Amazon....has been for a week or so now.
$99.99 - ridiculous, but I guess SC2 CE was also $99.99. CE's in general have gotten so much more expensive nowadays.
Not sure if I'll keep at this point, but better to secure a copy now than not and regret it later.
I have it ordered through GameStop. Although, I did have them upgrade it over the phone, which makes me want to go in and make sure it was done correctly. I've heard far too many horror stories when it comes to GameStop and pre-orders.
F gamestop. Don't give them your business.
Order through Amazon.
you save on taxes.
I don't normally double post, but I just got my beta invite!
Were you guys Opt-In or facebook invites?
Argh, why does Comcast have to be screwed up! :| Downloading 3GB at 100k/s is way past uncool.
