can anyone connect? it's always error #3005 for me.
I get multiple types of errors (on different attempts) :
Bnet is down
Try again later
This account has no license for D3
sigh
Got all excited for nothing.. constant Error 37
they capped the server limit; their stress test couldn't handle the stress, lmfao.
Took me half an hour just to log into bnet. Of course once I finally did that, all I was able to access was the public chat rooms.
Lol, so apparently their "beta test" was a slyly marketed stress-test. I suppose how else are they going to get so many people to waste their time. I guess it's better than some games that seemingly charge you full price before testing for them.
What do you think a beta test is? They are TESTING something, and need people to help. In this case they are testing the ability of their servers to handle all the people that will want to play on release date. They were not coy about this, it tells you right on their main page that they are testing the servers.

I logged in and played for a few minutes without much trouble.. stuttering like hell though.
Whoa, settle down there deckard cain. I wasn't even able to get on their main website earlier and haven't heard anything about the open beta until today. In fact I read one article about D3 a year or two ago, that's how much I care.
But still, I wouldn't call beta-testing and stress-testing their servers the same thing. For one they were seemingly not even in the ballpark, and it's not like this is their first MMO, or whatever you want to call what they have going on here. And two, would you considering being "invited" (as they put it) to test new product and when you get there the door is locked and nobody answers, testing their new product? Unless they were in the door-lock business, probably not, and you probably would of felt like you just wasted some time.
I'm sure their servers will be getting hammered much worse when the game is actually released, good luck!
