I'm definitely going demon hunter for my first guy, had a lot of fun with them in the beta.

Has anyone here tried using mumble? I've heard it is a good free voice client but haven't tried it myself.

I've used it. I never really used vent or the other one but mumble seemed to work fine

Amazon UK are being tarts. They've sent out some pre-orders today apparently and mine isn't one of them. Attempting to have a conversation in English with their customer service webchat team proved impossible with them only stating that I should receive my item on the 15th May 2012 (despite the game being playable from 23:01 on the 14th).

Not so amused but they told me it'd dispatch tomorrow (Saturday).

Ya I've used it some. It's not bad.

mumble is, or at least a year ago was, much better than vent or TS.

CE shipped and I should receive it on Monday. Purchased it from Best Buy on 4/26.

I used Mumble and I love it more than vent.

I just turned off the p2p option in the installer. This downloads it direct and goes plenty fast (I was getting about 35Mbps or so down out of the 105Mbps I had available).

For those with ISP's who block any and all connections to torrent trackers ( needed even if you decided to non p2p) find some direct HTTP links for the files. Its what I'll use to get my files. No thanks to Blizzard or Activision.

EDIT: I just found the links to the HTTP Blizzard server files. That's my "direct download". This makes me mad. USE YOUR MONEY to buy some server racks...f. Like Steam. Instead of first connecting to the tracker to connect to the HTTP files, I just found the HTTP files directly and downloaded. Win.

Can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy. I have 4 CEs on order... 2 for pick up in store, one for myself and one for my wife and I ordered 2 more today when they showed up on ebgames Canada website. Those two are going in the basement for a good five years or so () I have a gut feelig the D3 CE is going to be as valuable down the road as the vanilla WoW CE is today. Figure $200 is an easy investment to make $1800-$3000 five years later to blow on some toy.

Haven't anticipated a game like this since I was in university waiting for the Diablo 2 release. Closest since then was when I still played World of Warcraft and was looking forward to the BC expansion release. Still nothing near Diablo 3 :awe:

And, to be honest, i have no friends playing D2 nor will be playing D3 ..
Is there anything like LFG: Looking for Group or Looking for People In-game which will allow me to find people and play with?

I love the idea of playing with people and not alone ,its more fun...

When you play a game there's different privacy settings on the game. You can make it so you're always alone, only friends can join, or anyone can join. When you go to start a game there's two different buttons one that starts your own and one that drops you into other peoples games in progress at the quest that you select.

if you care about not being spoiled, I'd recommend playing alone or only through friends through Normal then start grouping up after you've completed Diablo 3 Normal

I plan on walking into walmart and buying the CE at 1am monday night (tues) and since no one in this town likes computer games or for that matter electronics, Ill probably be the only one there and may buy a few more for a rainy day in 5 years.
