I was browsing Craigslist and came across this. Made me think of this thread.
you should respond with, "He's just going to buy another one. Resistance is futile"

Found a perfect rare amulet today for a wizard, can't wait to bank on that. Ton of Int, nice chunk of Vit, dmg to monsters that hit, and a socket. Oh yes, I will make bank with this
Wow so many people so far into the game and I still cannot stick with one class. Anyone else having the same problem?
Haven't bought diablo 3 yet. Do these big games still go on sale for like $35 at brick and mortar retailers after the first 2 or 3 weeks of release? Or is this wishful thinking?

Having frequented the Blizzard forums and read about all the issues, imbalances, exploits, hacks, etc and no mention in sight about patching them. I'm starting to come to the realization that Blizzard doesn't care about fixing the game. This isn't WoW with a monthly subscription. You've already paid for the game. Frustrating you to the point of quitting only reduces their costs of keeping the game running.
It won't be until the casual gamer and the pissed off players are weeded out... when the population stabilizes is when they'll begin to look at the game and fixing it for those who remain. Then it may be fun again....
Just in time to roll out the expansion to fool the suckers back in. Then we all do the same dance. It's actually a pretty clever business model if you think about it.

What kind of hacks/exploits/imbalances are there? I try to stay off bnet forums on releases like this ...

You post this as if it is some revelation and that EVERY single game developer doesn't act exactly this way. Sure, once they get their money, who cares about the consumer? Until it is expansion time and they want your money again. This attitude isn't right by any means, but it is far from unheard of. In fact, it is more the norm than anything else. And not just in the Video Game industry.

This is not a one time purchase game nor is it a monthly subscription model, it is in essence a micro-transaction model. Blizzard expects to make continuing money of of the RMAH. That means they have to keep people playing, and using that RMAH. RMAH patch is suppose to hit next week, I imagine there will be bug-fix patches built into that. At some point after that PVP arena will come in, and I would expect more balance and gameplay features to be added with that. They are definitely going to patch, but it will probably be on a every few months schedule.
Finished on Normal Last night - 3-something DH. I really enjoyed the game/story line. Diablo 1 was my first co-op online experience, so I hold a special regard for this series. I even felt a bit of anxiety. Haven't been immersed in story/lore of a game in awhile.when your merc gets caged & the run up the long hallway to Diablo
I haven't even looked at the AH yet, cant wait to check that out when I get home.
If anyone wants to run NM+, hit me up Yreka#1211.
Im not in a terrible hurry when I play.. I don't dawdle around, but like to explore and make sure to clear all the rares/instances in a map. If your play-style is more speed through, boss runs we probably wont be a match
You dont have nearly enough health, and probably not enough damage resist. Just sayin

EDIT: One thing I have to say though, for all the 'we won't release it until it is done' he have heard for the last few years (and on multiple other games throughout the years), it sure feels like D3 was released unfinished.
