I'm willing to try out the azmodan runs but I wish blizzard would just say something because way too many people are saying different things

about whether it's an exploit or not? even if Blizzard ends up changing it to prevent power leveling, Blizzard isn't going to punish players that made use of it

I gotta say, I'm pretty pissed about Smoke Screen being nerf'd by half its time down to 1 sec and 1.5 sec with rune. I've found that when I do need to use it is to get out of a big mess, mainly when I get vortex'ed in or a big AOE thing goes off right on me. With the new time nerf it doesn't help much get out of a pack that vortex's me in half the time and I take a tick or two of the AOE now.

I never really used it all they way to act 1 inferno.

I like using gernades, with stun, fear shot, Caltrops, trying the wolf pet out still at 60.

I can kite around decent with the fear shot going off 35% of the time and chain key fear more then one, drop Caltrops if they get close and i need to run some, and use gernades to refill hatred when i run low by chain casting.

I bought a second account to go with my collector edition. More bank space, can list 10 more auctions a day, and i let me my GF's kids play together when they are there since i have 2. My DH is 60, so powerleveling the other account, when its done i will powerlevel some guys on my main account with my new monk.

Do you use a 2nd computer or can you run 2 d3 clients on one computer?

Since I only have one Battle.Net account with Diablo III on it, I don't even try to run two at once. However, I see no reason why one computer cannot do it. It should be the exact same as WoW, which I regularly run more than one client at a time. Note that I also run Diablo III in Windowed mode (except windowed-fullscreen for D3).

Anyone install the new 301.42 nvidia driver? I just did and got a major framerate loss in D3. I'm using a 560ti.

Its not like wow, you can't run 2 copys of D3 on one pc without using a 3rd party program.

I wish that when you used a item it was bound to you, and you could not remove gems with out destroying them. Once you get 5x of each of the top gems you will never have to buy/craft another.

Basically there are going to be endless amounts of stuff always for sale with millions of people selling it.

The selling 10 things is somewhat of a limit, but with millions playing and nothing really leaving the world outside of vendoring/disenchanting stuff will be around forever.

Yeah, they really screwed the pooch not having stuff become bound to you. I'm positive they did it like this so you can resell it, hopefully in their eyes on the RMAH so they get a cut.

Welp, add me to the list of 'compromised' accounts. Logged in after work to a naked and gutted level 47 Monk. Kind of mind boggling as I really didn't have good items, or a lot of gold, but everything was gone (even the potions and vendor garbage I remembered left in my inventory). I can only assume they simply sell any junk to a vendor before transferring all the gold and items.

I guess I should have followed some of these threads closer (got the game last Friday evening) because it's apparently happening to a lot of people. I hadn't given much thought to the Blizzard authenticator, but it's all configured now. Before coming here I sent in my support ticket to get a roll back on my character. Last I really played was Monday evening, though I checked the auction house briefly yesterday. I still had armor and gold on my character last night, so within the last 24 hours something happened.

The one thing I'm concerned about now is regarding the coming RMAH and the current gold AH. I had an auction listed undercutting similar stuff at 80k+ gold that would have ended sometime today with a lower bid amount. Through the support process I see Blizzard states they'll roll you back 2 times from a compromised account, then no more support for lost items. And with that, the 2nd roll back bars any access to the real money auction house. They could have a mess on their hands if there's a security hole being exploited to hijack accounts not using the Blizzard authenticator. Say what you will, but I'm sure there's a ton of casual players like me who initially scoff at multi-step/device security for a game(!). I haven't bought a Blizzard game since Diablo II so I was completely out of the loop about the authenticator.

So, it looks like this evening I'll be finishing a book rather than slaying demons.

I just hit 40 and cleared out NM Act 1. I just need to find someone to help me finish it out as well as my DH. I may pay some gold or something but it is hard getting people I know to stop playing themself.

BAH !

They should give a 5 minute timer from the time you try it on first to bind it to you. Keep it or sell it.

There's a lot of games I don't mind powerleveling in, and though I was initially tempted to do Asmodan runs for XP, I've only got 5 characters to level from now til the end of time lol (well unless expansions add more). The level "grind" as people have put it is very mild in this game, so I think I'd rather just enjoy playing each class through the different levels.

Idk...maybe I'll give hardcore a try at some point.

So what you're saying is that you're new to the Diablo franchise?

Bind on Equip equipment does not exist in this game. It's all trade-able candy forever. Why would they change this now?

Nope, I was suggesting a small change that would benefit the economy. It will keep things moving on the gold AH.

When the RMAH goes live it will be interesting to see how the gold AH does.

Not yet i was going to upgrade for my GTX 670 drivers but i might wait now.

To be honest I was having some problems before. Whenever I'd start the game I'd have a horrible fps for the first 15 seconds or so especially when using my special abilities. After about 90 seconds the framerate would be pretty smooth and once I've played for a while it would be consistently smooth. I don't know why the game needs a time to warm up for it to give me a consistent fps. It even needed this warm up period on the lowest settings.

I have a pretty decent rig (could run Withcer 2 with almost everything maxed):
Core i5 750
8GB Ram
Evga 1024mb 560ti
Win 7 64

Maybe overnight I'll reinstall the game to see if that makes any difference.
