I sold a few daggers on the AH...80STR and 145VIT with 86DPS...sold about 6 of them for 15k each since they came from the vendor. I saved two for my Barb
also TONS of stuff sells between 5-15k
lol my auction log is nearing 3k entries My best sales were buying some high dps blue weapons on the cheap <100k and putting it back up at market value of 300-500k. I'll say this though, you gotta be quick on the trigger, people have out clicked me that I've given up that trade. Now I just go for the 10k-50k profit items.
I might try this, thanks ... I do not use tele, so that'll be a different strat for me...no hyrdas?
I am not putting anymore in the AH unless it's worth 50.000g...IMO...weapons go fastest and INT/VIT stuff...respective all primary stat/VIT stuff. AH is insane, since, yes, you need to click ULTRA fast...sometimes looking at something for 10 seconds means someone will buy it in the meantime. Really, really retarded.
Patch 1.0.3 will bring big changes to the game's crafting system. Blizzard wants the Blacksmith to be a way for players to reliably receive upgrades. However, training the Blacksmith and creating items is currently too expensive so they plan to change that. Furthermore, the Jewelcrafter will only require two gems to make combinations rather than three.
that sucks for those of us who have already upgraded the blacksmith and gemsmith to level 10, and have already crafted end game gems ugh
MAJOR, MAJOR SCREW-UP
Right now, what happens:
You start the game, and it's downloading the new patch 1.02
It's installing and re-starting D3 and the info says patch 1.02 is installed.
Then you log-in and it tells you (again) a new patch is available, it will install the patch and then restart the game. (Although you already installed it before!)
Then it tries to restart, but the game hangs/crashed in task-manager and it tells my "Diablo III" is already running - and the game cant be started.
Anyone else have this?
I think the limit of 10 right now is almost necessary for the simple fact that the AH is so bloated. Each additional slot would add an obscene amount of stock and the page limits are already stretched beyond usability. I was looking through 2h weapons the other day and even limiting it to 60-60, magical rarity with 30%+ damage I couldn't see anything with DPS between like 500 and 800 when sorting by DPS because they fell in that 'dead zone'. Highest to lowest they're beyond page 46, lowest to highest they're beyond page 46.
Personally I wish it worked more like SWTOR's AH, I think a deposit on each auction would do a world of good with regards to keeping the trash off of it. You might run into a problem with deposits on genuinely exceptional items (worth presumably millions of gold) getting prohibitively high but something like ignoring/lowering deposit requirements on certain level or item level items would probably do the trick.
Lol'd thanks. Feels that way in Hell mode for me
So I havn't played anything other that solo at all.. I have a guy with the name 'gxw' on my 'recently played' list. I'm betting he's got my stolen equipment. I wish Blizzard would get their heads out of their asses and try to trace/actually do some detective work on this stuff.
edit: he has 9 lvl 1 characters all with random letters for the usernames.
Anyone know of a way to search for items that are not legendary to determine the going rate of items? I'm having a terrible time selling my stuff as well because I don't know if i'm just overpricing or it's just straight up junk.Yeah, I mean, remember how many people bought this game. Thats at least thousands of people online at the same time, and some sit there staring at the AH screen.
They need to fix the 10 item limit though. For the last 4 days or so, my stuff hasnt sold so now its all stuck in AH and I cant sell other items.
They really need a cancel button. It should be treated the same as ebay. If the item has no bids, you can cancel it, if it does have bids, you cant cancel it. Why is this so difficult for them to figure out? Its like common sense.
And for the love of god, can we get a limit of 30 items or something, not 10....
