whats the quickest way to power level? I just want to power level to 30.
to me the fun with the characters start around level 30/. ive put like 35 hours into a monk and only level 54.. i want to start a WD.
Jeez, just the sheer amount of hacking going on is mind boggling. I'm actually thinking of getting the iOS authenticator on my iPad since it's usually near the computer (don't want to bother with the keychain or my horribly buggy Android phone).
From what I understand gold gain grows exponentially once you A) hit lvl 60 and B) do Inferno. The Naelphim's Blessing or whatever it is gives you 75% more gold find/magic find when stacked.

Who are getting hacked with real authenticators? The ones claiming they had authenticators, Blizzard called them out and showed they had no authenticators, just fear mongering and trying to add to the mob chaos.
And as for hijacking it, why would they? It's a waste of time for them, they are probably running a bot script that logs in, sells, trades gold, log out. To add in character change and whatnot, it probably complicates the script. There is nothing gained from stealing an account since the account would just be banned until returned to the owner.
"Reduced level requirement" is quite an amusing property. I found a 600DPS level 60 two hander, pretty average, but it had reduced level requirement by 10 so my friend's barbarian has been enjoying that in Hell lol.
Also got my barb through more of A2 Inferno last night; it's doable, but definitely slower and whereas I can take anything A1 can throw at me, there are finally enemies that are simply impossible for me. My gear is pretty solid but there's definitely room for a few hundred more resists and armor and a better shield, but it does have me wondering if it'll 'ever' be enough lol. And even if I get to a point of realistic survivability, I think it'll be a serious damage compromise without some absolutely ridiculous gear.

Just playing normally if you stick a fairly high end Ruby in your hat and grab some +monster experience gear, it makes a pretty big difference imo. I started a lowbie and it feels like the levels come extremely quickly powering through Normal. Or you can do the same thing and find a spot with lots of mobs to grind I think A3 is regarded as pretty good for that sort of thing.
Its not like Blizzard would admit theres an issue, think about it.
And yes, go visit the bnet forums. Multiple people lately with real authenticators getting hacked. We can always go back and forth speculating about it, since we dont know, but you dont really believe all these hundreds of people a day are getting hacked from the same exact websites and same methods all without virus protection? All undetected. Nobody ever lists fishy websites they visited. Ever notice that? Dont you think people all over the web would be posting websites they recently visited speculating on which got them hacked? You see zero threads like that.

Actually there are posts like that
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5596251435
Which actually just lend more credence to the session hack theory. The adware that this person had and then other research done on the only two sites this guy visited don't lend themselves to the hack.
People are just naive and going to take the road that it is the victims fault in every case. Which is stupid really, its wishful thinking. Until it happens to them of course.
The reason I am very skeptical because this also happened back in WoW when I use to play, this is new to new Blizzard customers, not to many of the old Wow players. My past guild had some members with their accounts compromised and they were tech savvy as well. Their virus scanners picked up nothing, nor malware, etc. There were many people being hacked in WoW.
So until there is more proof of it being a session hack, not just coincidental factors and whatnot, like an actual youtube vid of someone doing it that isn't edited, then I will remain skeptical.
It is as naive as people thinking they are 100% safe because they run a virus protection software, adware, and don't visit blatantly malicious sites.
But you dont really believe all these hundreds of people a day are getting hacked from the same exact websites and same methods all without virus protection?
Thats fair enough and youre right, speculating over and over again doesnt really change anything.
However you should also realize, with the plethora of people with losing their accounts, wanting to discuss the GAME itself would be difficult for those individuals who cant play the game anymore? Just saying.
Yes, I absolutely do.
People, in general, don't know a single thing about computers. About how they work, about how to use them, about what they do, about how to secure them, about discerning good windows from bad windows, any of it [yes, even on this forum and this website]. I deal with them every day, people in my department are on the phone with people who can't tell you what version of Windows they have, what browser they use, they don't know what their address bar is, they don't know the difference between a shortcut and a program, and they keep their passwords taped to their monitors. I don't doubt the fact their accounts are being compromised, what I doubt that any of them would be qualified to critically analyze how or why.
Further, you're completely ignoring the human condition. If you get hacked and you decide to post about it, are you going to really own up to all the shady things most people do with their computer? Are you really going to give people any reason to pass the buck back to you, instead of Blizzard? Are you really going to say anything that might place blame on yourself? No, probably not. Because that's not why people post, they post because they want sympathy and they want to feel "right" and they don't want to be at fault because they want someone to be angry with, and it's much easier to be angry at Blizzard than yourself.
