Looks like inferno bosses got a lot harder

Siegebreaker now has reflect.

Arrgg, I can kill him in under 2 minutes but reflect is going to kill me in 30 seconds.

same~ he has way too much health to be downed that quick.
not to mention~ how much leech are you going to need in order to negate that reflect damage crap especially for a dh ?

Also Nether tentacles hitting once ? Near impossible solo.

Why would I beat my head on act 2/3 if I can farm act 1 5x faster and die 10x less? I guess I'll beat the game after I'm geared to the brim.

Destructible objects no longer have a chance to drop items, and will only have a small chance to drop gold when destroyed

also ive given up trying to progress on the DH in inferno, hes fing made of tissue paper and i have issues not dieing simply trying to save cain, the wizard which is also a glass cannon can at least take a hit or 2 and get away

I think people somewhat overestimate the gear they'll get from A1; after all, 90% of the time you're still going to be getting the same gear as before. 10% of the time you'll get ILVL 62/63, which isn't bad, but then you still have to get that gear to roll 'rare' and then you still have to get that rare to roll well. The chance is there, absolutely, but I wouldn't expect a lot to come of it on an individual basis at least.

I think I'll stick to Azmodan runs although I'll probably be more thorough about hunting down rare mobs once I get my 5 NV rather than restarting.

I noticed that Magic Find no longer works on anything other than monsters now it seems. I imagine some people are going to be annoyed by this? I see quite a few more nerfs than I would have liked to see in this patch.

Magic Find will no longer be considered when looting objects in the environment such as chests, barrels, vases, pots, and corpses

Damn was looking forward to this patch too.. Ill reserve judgment till I actually play, but it sure looks like more nerf than fix

Has anyone bought anything with real money on the AH yet? I'm asking because I would like to laugh at you.

Seriously, what the hell is the point of buying items with real money for a game like Diablo 3. It's not like that item is going to give you an edge over anything or anybody, the game is cooperative. On top of that, the game is getting quite repetitive.

I haven't yet but I definitely will. Laugh all you want. I laugh at people all the time and I'm sure I'm laughed at as well. I really enjoy this game, and I make decent money, so spending a little on something I enjoy isn't a big deal.

Also, gear definitely gives you an edge. Try later acts in Inferno with the same gear you did Hell in. And gear I get from those acts I can sell for gold or real $. It's like an investment. Gotta spend money to make money.

Rank 3: Regular: 25 gold (down from 750 gold)

Rank 5: Perfect: 55 gold (down from 2000 gold)
Rank 6: Radiant: 70 gold (down from 3500 gold)
Rank 7: Square: 85 gold (down from 7500 gold)
Rank 8: Flawless Square: 100 gold (down from 20,000 gold)

I mean that just shows the ridiculous amoutn they charging us to combo gems in the past.

Actually, I think it was a good amount so you couldn't just buy a flawless square right away very cheap. But now that so many people are at inferno and getting those drops, the market got flooded and it made no sense for anyone to combine gems when the AH prices are a fraction of that cost.

Would have preferred them putting strong guards at the bridge or giving players an invulnerable buff in town rather than using portals.



Magic find now useless for chest, wonder what this effect comes out to.


No more items, minimal gold from objects, glad I've got the achievements already cause won't be wasting time on those anymore.

They nerfed act 2/3/4 mobs so maybe it's easier. You'd have to run act 1 at 4x the pace of act 3, butcher runs are what 15 minutes? Pretty sure my azmo runs were about an hour. That gives me about the same chance for lvl 63s but a lot higher chance at 61/62s.

Most people will modify their runs after the patch since elites drop one more rare and bosses are buffed. I think I'll extend my azmo runs to include the spider boss and a couple extra quick rare spawns.

50% IAS nerf is going to hurt everyone. All single weapon DH's are screwed even if you stack crit dmg.

Might be time to finish leveling the barb and wd.

I wouldn't go that far, there were a lot of really melee-positive monster changes.

Fixed a bug that was allowing players to temporarily pick up items that belonged to another account

Does anyone know what this refers to? I've never heard of this bug. Seems reminiscent of the stories from some players saying that they were hacked but only items they recently touched or moved that play session were missing.

It's more than 50%. my 13% lacuni and gloves which also had 13% asi is reduced to 5%.

Shorter enrage time ?

If you're talking about the monsters not hitting as hard. Tank barbs and monks that were fine.

This, only on teh fact for Resplondent Chests. They should count as a "rare" monster kill.

Otherwise I see no reason to blow up everything I see or even open chests.
