I actually hate my self....

I know I should never have done this, I felt like being a nice generous person and helped a fellow player in need, gave him some RMAH tips on how he could make a quick few bucks.

My niche market is destroyed...completely and absolutely. There is 0 dollars left for me to be made there. I went from making $90 a day, to making $8 over the past 4 days. The whole market was flooded with items purchased on the GAH and resold on the RMAH. And it happened just as I gave out a few words of advice.

Oh well, time to find another niche market to destroy. And I know some might hate me for preying on others but hey, it seems as though in today's world that's the only way to make money.

You weren't the only one doing this. I did this as well.

I saw someone post about buying a weapon for $250 then selling it for 300 million gold. That was a good flip as well.

Damage, lots of it, at the cost of resists/health. The DH I run with has like 50K dps (no sharpshooter), 20K health and 0 resist. Obviously you don't need that much damage for act 2 but that's the direction you need to head.

Regarding sharpshooter - damn, never really took the time to think about it, but you're right. I crit every 2 or 3 seconds, which means 1 to 2 seconds for it to build up (2 to 3 minus 1 for "cooldown") or 3-6% added. It makes a nice first shot though.

Think I'll switch to the extra hatred perk so I can get the extra clustershot. Plus 15% for slow owuld be nice except I like piercing shot more, and my traps don't last long enough.

Any tips for a Demon Hunter at level 60? I kinda sped run to level 60 (if 25 hours is a speed run. I don't think I'd be hired by any korean farming groups). Anyways, I'm still inexperienced with Demon Hunters even at 60. I haven't bought any 60 gear yet. Should I just go with high dex-fair vitality-all resistance gear? Do most max level DHs use a two handed bow and a quiver?

Demon Hunters aren't as OP as I hoped they would be, but then again they got nerfed pretty hard with the IAS reduction. But I'm all for balancing out things. Is the class still considered OP though or not so much? Also I guess I shouldn't really judge the classes' OPness yet since I have really low level gear on still. Didn't buy too much from 45-60 except for weapons because there's no need to buy a whole different equip every few levels if you're speed leveling. Rings are still level 19 and 23 or something, hehe.

I'm having a hard time finding a set of skills I like though. I like the electric elemental arrow that zaps everything around it, and I like piercing arrow, but not really set on anything else. Love vaulting around too but it's bad for mana/hatred/discipline whatever it uses - Ok I'll shut up and go to bed now, any advice will be appreciated.

My thoughts on expansion are either/both trying to recover leah and reconfiguring the angelic council.

Finished nm with 1.7k dps, by the time skelle was down in hell I'm at just under 4k. Its gotten easier to kill normal mobs, butt they can still take you down quickly if you aren't paying attention and elite packs or champions are a rather pita kitting experience...which sucks if you have cleared enough normal mobs and start pulling adds.

Talking to some friends, it seems either Inferno got easier (by a large margin) or they're finally starting to understand their classes a little more.

More of my friends are enjoying Inferno and not the usual "too hard, gonna stop playing" banter they were all repeating just 2-3 weeks ago.

I haven't had time to play in..about a week haha, has there been any new nerfs or anything change in the economy where everyone is finding boat loads of better gear?

I have a DH @ 60 and is essentially a glass cannon. Most DH are glass (paper) cannons.
There is one build out there that utilizes a more "tanky" build but it's by no means capable of true tanking. It consist of loads of life leech and using caltrops, Shadow with the gloom rune, Shuriken cloud, Sentry with the heal capability. Main passive to use is engineering for the added time to traps and caltrops for added leech duration. The rest is to your fancy.

It’s a team based build but I prefer not going that route, because even tho I have decent life leech, I am still squishy and draw WAY too much agro. As soon as I let the arrows fly and they start bouncing around crit hitting everything, I am dead essentially. I’ll get elites making a bee line for me or a large groups of white MOBS coming.

My normal build is multi-shot, loaded for bear, piercing arrow (with the split capability…I can’t recall the exact names. Sorry). I use (2) 1H xbows both with 700 LoH or a bow socketed with a nice emerald for added crit punch coupled with a quiver.

DH just aren’t good survivors and the IAS nerf was hard on the class. They were supposed to dish out big damage fast and quick to run from danger. Shoot ‘n’ scoot tactics. Not so much anymore. It’s pure kite now.

I wouldn't have suspected it, but at least at low levels, I find that I enjoy playing my Wizard a lot more than my Demon Hunter. They both play fairly similar to each other, but maybe it helps that I can easily attack on the run with a Wizard, which isn't possible with a Demon Hunter (at the moment).

just finished Act 4 Hell with a lvl 59 monk, can't go to inferno quite yet.

Monk stats:

~29k HP
-5377.84 Damage
-3879 Armor (using a passive skill that increases armor by amount of dex)

-Life per kill 314
-Life per hit 411

-Resistances 342-388

It was not bad, I died once in the getting to Diablo. Life per Hit and resistances as much as possible and the Monk does well tanking.

Even with those Res, the desecrating monster skill is rough. I can't go toe-to-toe with more than one elite at a time if they use that skill.

Act 2 is great. I farm the desert area's..there are 3 of them leading up to mahda. Once you get to the cultists.. I kill the first set of elites in my way and then rush to the boss entrance.

the desert area is the worst...

black canyon mines -> usually 2-3 elite packs, plus bottom left corner of the zone can potential spawn a unique that will open up a hole in the ground to an instance

road to alcarnus -> one guaranteed pack, sometimes two

ancient path -> scour the desert until you find Vault of the Assassin, encounter a handful of elites on the way

Vault of the Assassin -> ten packs of elites, guaranteed.

Belial + guaranteed champ pack

this is usually a 1 hr run on my monk, and i just run past all the normal mobs until about 50 of them pile up on me. then i pop serenity, sweeping winds, and blow them up.

Sharphooter is a garbage skill, get rid of it ASAP.

Can you explain this a bit more? I find that I'm able to kill so much better with this skill. Usually I can one-shot a white pack when i come to them because i always crit with the cluster arrow. Also, on elite packs, i can get two cluster arrows right away, kite some, and then get another crit. My crit chance without sharpshooter is pretty darn low. Like 18% I think.

it also comes down to build/playstyle. my DH is kiting glass cannon that uses Cluster Bombs. so there are a lot of situations where I'm running away and firing a Hatred generator away from an elite pack to build up hatred/crit %, then unloading Cluster Bombs.

Sold a ring that dropped for 40 bucks.

Bought a 30 dollar helmet and 5 dollar amulet. Flipped Amulet for 20. Flipped helmet for 75.

Now..I bought a pair of gloves to flip..muhahahah

yep. if you are consistently doing this, you will be banned for using the RMAH as an investment vehicle.

long story short, don't treat the RMAH as the stock market.

Speaking of act 2, still haven't come across most of the books there for the achievement. Got them once but the server crashed just after I read them and it wiped most of my act 2 stuff.

Yep, I've read many threads on the Bliz forums of bannings due to item flipping for profit. Although you can never really believe their story but there were quite a few of them so take that for what it's worth.

I think it depends. If you do it on paypal, then they may because it is a stock market like investment.

But if you do blizzard bucks, i dont know if they would care, as that money would go to them in one fasion or another.

yeah #1 situation where I build up hatred & crit % is versus Reflect Damage packs and I try to fire 2 Cluster Bombs and SS before the reflect damage
