Ah, I wasn't aware of that. Anyway, how are you guys making so much gold? Adrenaline said he's got 150 mil. I've got 14 mil. it's all been from selling drops too. I don't die much at all on my barb, and drops just flat out suck, so where is everybody getting it.....aside from buying it.

Get lucky and gold pickup. My gold pickup is at 153M i think but im at plvl 87.

But all my gold has been from flipping on AH or getting some nice finds.

I tried flipping a shoulder piece before that i bought for 45m. What do you know i sold it for 6.5m coz i lack a 0. Flipping fail lol. So i never got into that again.

If they improved the drops, the value of all gear would just go down, and the only real difference would be it would take less time to get good enough gear to beat act 4, which is the opposite of what Blizzard is trying to accomplish. That's why whenever I list something, I carefully count the # of 0's i'm typing out.

Problem is what blizzard is trying to accomplish is not fun. People complain when they are not having fun.

I did sell a Skorn for 75 USD and some other crap for RMAH. Currently got about 135 bucks sitting in the account.

Beat act 4? Done that already, wasn't difficult if you grab 2-3 guys. Can do it solo too pretty easily.

The fun of diablo is collecting drops and trading gear and seeing your character become more powerful, and eventually pvp. Beating the game is really not anybody's main concern I'd think.

And people will bitch about anything. If you gave everyone a million dollars someone will whine about how everyone got a million dollars and they weren't the only ones.

The drops are 99%+ abysmal. I am not even talking about useful, just atrocious. Their itemization is awful and the droprates suck. This patch should have addressed some of the issues. Altering the droprates of shit ever so slightly will still produce even more shit in abundance. Which, btw, the people on the PTR still said the drops were shit.

This transpired on the forums when people complained about drops originally:

People start saying the AH is controlling the drops of the good gear (limiting what you can roll for items)

Bashiok (Blizzard Rep) comes on the forums and actually says the AH does influence droprates or the economy would crash. (No I will not link this, google it)

Then he backtracks or some other Blue did shortly after that.

Now his comments are brought up in every complaint thread about drops.

On one hand you really hope rng is rng. On the other hand you have a Blizzard rep state this publicly then got his wrist slapped to retract it.

You just do not know what to believe with this game to be honest.

This game is so far behind Diablo 2: LoD still. D3 came out 12 years after D2: LoD, so pathetic.

Amazingly enough, I have never seen this amount of complaining with regards to any other game.

WoW has never had this much complaining and they have millions of people playing it all the time. Diablo 3 is lucky to have a million left playing it (excluding bots). I can say this as my friend's list had over 80 people on it easily, and there were 5 left playing it on September 26.

WoW people complain about one thing, the maintenance time every week. As soon as the servers are up, people are logging in nonstop.

Edit:

Another complaint about this game is after the long wait for Diablo 3, it was released and not fully tested or finished. They are on their 5th patch in 5 months and one day. This is an awful release for Blizzard and I know numerous people that will not purchase any more games from them because of Diablo 3.

P.S.

I enjoyed this game a great deal. The constant nerfing is horrendous. This is not a Diablo game as it barely resembles anything from Diablo 1 or 2. If you change a few things in this game:

Cain's name, he died pitifully and it was a waste
Tyreal's name
Izual's name
Diablo's name

You get a totally different game. I do not see any resemblance to the first two Diablo games at all.

I played Diablo 2 from start through LoD all the way up until around 1.11 which would be several years before I got bored with it. I played Diablo 3 for several weeks then got bored.

I get amazing drops (not for my class, boo hoo) and I get shit drops. Over all I earn money, my character progresses and I have a better and stronger character than I did a month ago, not by a huge margin but significant enough that I'm now farming act 3 in under an hour, pushing 40 minutes if I get some lucky weak prefixes/mobs.

Also D2 was hella boring until LOD, or did you forget about that?

I don't like what is wrong with the game or the dev team behind the horrible changes they continue to make. Unfortunately, I did like the game and it is just even harder to take as I loved Diablo 1, Diablo 2 and Diablo2: LoD a great deal.

Besides, I was replying to a post. I just did not come on here and start slamming it out of the blue in these posts. I think I did that when I found a second ilvl 52 legendary in Inferno act 3. Btw, that was the reason I logged out on September 26 and did not even look at Diablo 3 for over two weeks until someone asked me to play.

It can't be a conspiracy theory when the Blizzard rep stated it. Did he retract it because it was false or because he was slapped on the wrist.? Look it up.

Bashiok is also credited with being an ass with regards to the IAS nerf that happened by issung a comment:

That was in regards to it being the only nerf they put in the game and did not nerf even more. Awesome customer service from these team and the reps.

D2 was not hella boring until the expansion. D2 was quite fun and I actually found good rares in it. The uniques in D2 also were useable at endgame and dropped a little more frequent.

LoD expanded D2 and made it more amazing.
