I wish I could sell the keys. Why won't they allow that? I have 20 act 3 keys. That guy drops keys in every mp. The other two, it's painfull hunting keys from them.

For reference, I'm about 35k hp, 135k dps, 850 AR, and no LS/LoH other than shadow power (and I use gloom, so added 35% dmg reduction). I use night stalker, have ~56% crit chance and have extra discipline, so I can keep shadow power up for a good long time.

I do think my DPS is higher because I have some +% bonuses for specific skills on my gear (+14% spike trap dmg, +9% bola dmg)

I can do MP7 pretty well, and MP8 with a decent group of people who are about equivalent to me. Most people I end up playing with are lower spec'd so I haven't done much at MP9/10.

So you are constantly hitting Shadow Power every five seconds? Seems like that would get annoying.

wow....been about 3 weeks since I sold anything on the AH. I haven't even gotten a bid on anything in that period. I think the player pool really has dried up. It's like a twilight zone episode...we're the last ones playing but we just don't know it..

Same here, and with everything that's top end costing tens of millions on the AH it really puts you in a bind as a player who hasn't been playing long. Add in the fact that grinding the same story over and over and over and over gets old pretty fast, along with the fact that most players have been playing for a long time now and have no need for many items if at all, and you have a recipe for a stagnant community. Sadly, it looks like I got on the bus too late. :\

Thx silverpig for the gear donation, though, as it has come in handy and I do still get on from time to time to kill Diablo or try to find the rare mob in the Frost Caverns.

I don't doubt that the player pool has dried up a bit (lot), but I've actually been having some success selling stuff over the past few weeks.

The funny thing is that I'm noticing more uniques dropping lately. That might be due to my high paragon level (71 now) or my move up to MP3 for regular farming.

pretty much once that huge ban wave hit on 12/18 it pretty much has died.
even before that tho, the last month at least i haven't been able to sell anything unless it's godly. but what can you expect, it's the same thing over and over, what does better gear get you? let's you do a farm run in 30 minutes instead of 40? LOL
i pretty much got to the point i couldn't upgrade anything for less than ~200mil a piece.

This is a list of changes and additions to Diablo III that will likely arrive in patch 1.0.7. Each item links to information from a Blizzard employee, usually a Community Manager posting on the official forums, covering an issue that the Diablo III developers have considered changing; you can select the link to read what the Blizzard blue poster had to say about the topic. It is important to note that nothing here is guaranteed! There is a large possibility that some of these ideas will not end up in patch 1.0.7, and some may never happen at any point. This is a starting point for looking at what issues are likely to be dealt with in the patch.

General
-Getting rid of the current incremental resurrection timer that increases in duration when a character dies multiple times in a row; it will be changed to the short fixed length (confirmed again)
-Tweaks to the mini-map ping for Legendaries: make the graphic last longer, and possibly changes to the sound and how the sound is categorized in the game settings
-Separating the position of the banner and players' portals in Bastion's Keep.

Player Versus Player
-Dueling will be added in 1.0.7, no other PVP system in this patch; some other more full-fledged PVP system will be added in a future patch.
Fixing the Votekick so that it can't be used to pkill in hardcore mode.

Classes

Monk: Big meaningful changes to Monk skills: changes to runes and mobility for Dashing Strike and Lashing Tail Kick. Possibly an overhaul to the One With Everything passive, if the developers have figured out how best to do it.
Wizard: Increasing Wizard skill synergy.

A very high chance of other class changes, to continue the process of providing a range of skill options, as well as matching up with the stated design goals for Crowd Control

A possible fix for the bug that plagues Dashing Strike for Monks, and Furious Charge for Barbarians; they can get "stuck" occasionally using these skills, and nothing can be done except to leave the game

Fixing the sound of Overpower coming off cooldown, since it currently plays the same sound as when a legendary drops.

Fixing the display bonuses for the Wizard skill Magic Weapon - Blood Magic so it is listed properly on the character Details sheet.

Auction House
Adding commas or spaces to break up long gold numbers in the Auction House and trading UI

. Letting players search for total block %, instead of just the +block amount

. Monsters

Major changes for the Reflects Damage elite monster affix: Pets (including pets such as Hydra, Sentry, Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter mobile pets) will no longer reflect the damage that they do, to their masters. There may be further changes to the Reflects Damage affix, such as making it a duration-based affix that is activated by monsters like the Shielding affix, which would include a visual to show when it is active on a monster.

Reducing Treasure Goblin health at high Monster Power levels

. Improving monster density in Acts where it is lower.

Game Systems

Increasing the xp bonus at higher Monster Power levels

. Making Monster Power work in public games. Mentioned again, and the difficulty of dealing with increased queue times with multiple Monster Power levels available for public games

. Adjusting the Nephalem Valor system, to make it easier to run games that are 5-10 minutes long, and still have them be rewarding; also allowing the Nephalem Valor to persist across Acts.

Changing the salvage result from a Hellfire Ring; it will likely be changed in patch 1.0.7 to regularly provide a Fiery Brimstone. In a future patch down the road, it may be changed again to provide a Key or Organ used in crafting of a Hellfire Ring.

Bug Fixes

Presumably many of the issues mentioned in the Known Issues List will be fixed

. Allowing characters to drop the plans for the Staff of Herding, and the Infernal Machine

. Removing the Victory conversation achievement criteria with Covetous Shen, so multiple achievements can once again be obtained.

I would suggest to Blizzard to keep AH cycling through things and everyone buying all the time is to have the durability on equipment permanently go down one point every time you repair. Then there is more incentive to stay alive as well. Also tabbed equipment would be nice to just click a tab to switch a set of equipment. Thoughts?

Terrible idea. I would have no desire to play anymore. If I had a chance to lose my items, that I already spent a ton of time farming to get, I'd have no real incentive to play.

I do think the AH interface and search could be done MUCH better though.

They do that, I quit.

With the rate that I repair, equipment would be good for less than a week, then I go back to using turd?

That's what hardcore is for. best incentive to not die: die and you lose everything.

Ya I know what you mean, not sure, maybe they could give a major increase to durability and increase good drops if having permanent durability loss. I seem to remember playing an rpg with that durability decrease by a point if repaired was that Diablo 1? Umm also there will still be the items with 'ignores durability loss' stat that would be worth the most money as of now I don't think anyone cares about that stat.

Also wants ladders and PKing people in hardcore that always made me laugh - at other people of course. I was usually the one getting Pked all the time though.

Got my wizard to 60 and bought a bit of gear. I really like Archon. It is a lot of fun. I guess hitting 60 then being 148k dps right away helps though.

PTR patch notes are up and look decent so far. New gem tier though... 3 radiant stars, some new tome thing, and 20mil...

I saw the next patch info on diablofans.com and laughed. Blizzard is still clueless about how to make this game better. People don't want to farm recipes and reagents to make something that is going to spawn garbage over and over again.

New crafting recipes, crafting materials and gems. Forget crafting garbage, I want drops.

Where are the item drops that will benefit me without having to put in hours on end to play the auction house for an upgrade?

I have found one thing on my Barb I use and spent over a billion gold for the rest. I have played twice in the last month and getting closer to just uninstalling this crap.

And if you played D2 any, you would have 1 decent item MAYBE. The idea behind the AH that you don't have to stash or save or throw away good items you can't use. A few months back I found trifecta gloves with 150 int. I had no int using character. These would have been basically junk except I could sell them on the AH.

Think about all of the hours you played D2, if you did, and then think about how many end game items you actually found. Loot is far more available in D3 than it ever was in D2. And with the game being centered around multiplayer, it is harder to solo in the just found crap gear.
