meh who cares. They lied so bad about what features would be in original D3, how stupid would you have to be to buy the expansion? Seriously, do they have integrated PvP yet? That was supposed to be in it around...oh...july 2012.

sadly you are in a place where there is no bang for buck upgrade, weps cost a fortune, Lacunis, mempo, depth diggers and ice climbers with STR and Vit are stupid expensive

a Crit % + Crit damage ring is prrob you best bet but will be hard to beat the +damage you have on yours

witching hour might be an upgrade as well buy you lose life steal

What is in your "archon" build.

I find CM/WW superior to it with the right gear. Able to aoe down 50+ mobs at once by spamming freeze, diamond armor and attacks, is very enjoyable.

I play on MP6 and am working my way through all the acts just for kicks and giggles before I find a spot to farm.

Ive been playing around with WoF instead of FN just to see if I notice a difference, and I gotta say the only real difference I notice is Im much less likely to get myself killed running around WoF because Im not trying to get the crit buff. Glass Cannon can be moved with something else for survivability if I wanted to go into higher mps

Ive always been a nuker and not a ccer so thats kinda why Im not cm/ww. I just find it boring, Id rather do orb lol. Right now Im just trying to gear up but anything thats an upgrade is so expensive now

Have they given any meaningful dates for the expansion yet? The patch with most of the base game changes should be out some time before the official release and I'd like to hop in around that time to test out the new loot mechanics.

Add me ThaStik#1351. I've got a wiz (can do CM/WW or archon), barb, and WD that are pushing 190k dps and a monk that is stuck at 140k dps. Been playing the Wiz more and more though...just a better well-rounded toon that I have bit more fun with.

Also, any input the gallery here has that I could or should look for with regards to upgrades would be greatly appreciated. I have a couple billion but just not sure if I want to spend it before the expansion...it would have to be a 10k - 15k DPS boost for me to buy something.

An idea I'm tossing around is getting a Duncraig cross for the Wiz with atk spd. This meand I would/could replace the tal's chest (and the respective atk spd) with either a Zuni or blackthorne's surcoat. I like the surcoat because I would then get the 3-piece bonus of an added 6% damage bonus to elites. I would have to buy the surcoat and the cross though...I do, however, have a Zuni's chest lying around but would need to either buy a Pox or the boots...a Pox is going to be incredibly expensive and the boots would mean sacrificing some good stats I currently enjoy from the ice climbers...

A few people added me last night. I didn't realize how low my monks DPS was, so I bought a 2 billion gold spear. =( 1100 dps 95 crit damage 2.5LS and OS. Almost hit 200k on him, and I am only paragon 10. =(


Also, if anyone wants a deal on a decent monk spear, let me know. I have a 1k DPS 59 crit damage, 2.6LS, OS spear I'd let go for like 60 mil.

Yeah, I have to wait until I get off work as well. >_> I put it on the AH for 100mil, but I doubt it will sell for that much. There were better weapons for the same amount. There was better spear I wish I could have bought though, but it was 2b bid already. =(

2B gold isnt 250$ its like 50$ if you get it on the store. current rate is like $1.40 per 50 million

i also have a decent Crit Dmg + LS + Socket wep im trying to off load (spear) as well a a 1H Axe (Lower DPS) but it also has Str and Vit on it

assuming it doesnt sell today when im at work

I flipped items regularly and made a decent amount when the gold dupe hit. I sold a bit of it ( I made ~12b I think that day) and kept the rest. Just looking for those upgrades. They get more and more expensive. =(

A good way to make money is to buy gems before a patch. They have gone up in price right after a patch pretty much every patch. I made a ton after they eliminated the flood of 'duped' gems by banning people doing revert exploits. Buying gems at like 8 mil each and them instantly jumping to 30+ mil was a good investment.

I dumped what money I had into FSQ Rubies after exp announcement. I only got about 6k gems but we'll see how that fares for me.

It is a bit early to buy gems already. Slowly build them up though. You can easily get quite a few to flip.

1 drop can change all that. If you find an EF with .25 APS, OS, and like 90+ Crit Damage you're making 10b easy. Or you can sell unid's. You should get a good amount paragon farming. If you're on tonight,we can do some runs really quick. Tons of mobs = tons of drops.

I saw an amulet I wouldn't mind having last night. 225 Str, 10 crit, 100 crit damage and a ton of average damage. He wanted 14b for it though. >_>

I did just pick up an EF thats like 1200dps with int, but more importantly with 2.5% ls and 18% fear. Not sure if I should keep it or sell, the ls is pretty good.
