Did about 15 A1 normal runs and opened all the caches. Got 1 ammy and 2 skeletal pauldrons.

Realized I missed 1 cache in my bag and opened that up and lo and behold, I got me a RoRG. It only has CHD 28% though, so it's a pretty weak ring. Will need to re-roll either the AS or the LoH for some CHC. I am actually considering the AS to re-roll since as a Wizard, AS is not really a big stat for us to get so I've read.

Plus I could use the extra toughness with LOH.

I'm still looking for a mirrorball with +2 on it. Using a +1 right now. Used up about 400 shards and got another MB but it only had +1 on it as well...F me.

Also got 2 Chantodo sources from her, both useless to me.

I think blizzard decided that if you had mad loots before RoS, you get nothing now.

I got a Ring of Royal Grandeur tonight after a little bit of normal A1 farming. The rolls on it are... kind of meh. My two bonus stats are armor and dexterity. I'll probably reroll armor when I have a set (or sets) to use it with, but the dexterity is also kind of low.

I also tried getting an Andariel's Visage via gambling, but I ended up getting something else fairly interesting: Gyana na Kashu. It doesn't have a +elemental bonus like Andariel's, but it does have a chance to release a fireball on using Lashing Tail Kick. The fireball most likely gains all of my bonus damage, and it's a fairly strong attack too.

Your best bet is probably just doing runs on normal. Yeah, the drop chance is lower, but you still get legendaries and you can also get some good yellow gear. It'll also get you ridiculously stocked up on rift tokens!

I ran with a Gyana for a while and didn't really see it doing much more damage. The problem with it is, (as the description says) it does damage when it lands, not specifically when it flies through. So getting it to land right on what you want to die, being melee, is pretty dumb.

I'm pretty sure I saw it deal damage as it passed through an enemy, but at times, it can be hard to discern where the numbers are coming from! :$ I would say the hardest part is directing it so you can also do things like hit enemies that are at a distance while also striking one that's near you. It sort of seems to fire off in the direction that your mouse is facing... but it doesn't seem to always be too precise.

Anyway, I'll look into the damage on pass-through more tomorrow.

EDIT:

Oh, and I was looking up legendary boots, and I saw these Ice Climbers. It would be quite awesome to be lazy and not have to move out of freezing! :awe:

I just rearranged my equipment to include the Ice Climbers I had stored, when I popped on my RoRG. It is nice; with the Countess included, I'm not afraid of much any more.

I'll have to do some retesting, but I thought GNK's proc didn't damage while passing through.

Edit: Just retested, and I'm seeing damage for the proc passing through. Time to revamp the gear set again!

I farmed lower tier difficulties for about 2 weeks to get mine. Probably around 150 caches or so. It was actually an enjoyable break, being able to quickly fly through - sometimes with 160% movement speed. ^^ (I'd do Rifts too to bump the legendary drop rate, spend some of the RS I had stacking up, and to not get too bored with it).

I just had a really close call in D3. I was being a dumbass and messing around by dropping my set items on the ground, about 6 items, just to see all my party members run towards them. They obviously can't take them as they are account bound.

After a few seconds, I thought I better pick them back up b/c who knows when I might receive a random DC. Well, I didn't get DCed, but shortly after I picked up everything, my comp froze! I would have lost all those items if I didn't click fast enough lol. No more being stupid.

Set a goal for myself, gamble Hexing Pants and wow...

After 900 gambles, I have not gotten them. A minimum 4,500 shards have been used (I gambled on pants sparingly before keeping track.) I have gotten eleven legendaries out of the 900 attempts which is 1.22%.

My results thus far have been:

6 Depth Diggers (One pair was an upgrade and I am using them. These all came in the first 244 gambles.)
2 Blackthorne's
2 Hammer Jammers
1 Pox Faulds

There are only six legendary pants that can be gambled. I have not seen Swamp Land Waders and I am unsure if a Barb can gamble them.

Set items I have gotten during this adventure have been:
Raekor's boots (minimum strength and no AR or single resist, so they need 2 primary rolls BADLY).
IK armor (the worst legendary I think I have seen to date tbh. I gave it to someone in the game.)

I can gamble other upgrades, so this is really not that fun. Oh well, I will keep on going.

If you used DH with the set bows that turn the discipline cost for vault into hatred, and you get your hatred regen up high enough, you can literally just hold down vault to your destination with occasionally using your hatred refill skills.

I've gotten burnt out farming so much and I'm only 180 rifts in. I've gotten Zero of the 70 class set pieces.

I get that part. I didn't get the whole "pwn" Americans. This isn't really a PVP game (yet).

It's for Monks, but the weapon stuff technically applies to all classes.

EDIT:

There are a few interesting notes though...

• Epiphany is currently bugged. It will take a snapshot of your current stats (including +damage) when you use it.
• Burning Axe of Sankiss appears to be bugged in that it has no internal cooldown on its damage mitigation proc.
• All thunder weapons do not gain bonus damage from +thunder damage.
• Gyana na Kashu currently hits the first target twice causing it to do too much damage.

Interesting you mention that. I know lots of people inmy friends list that were elite before have kinda poor gear.
