Question for the masses: When using those Paragon points, do you all tend to focus on certain stats based on the character you're using? e.g. for Barb, do you focus and fill up strength the entire way on offense before doing something else? And if there is already a guide on this somewhere that I've completely whiffed, please let me know.
Basics are to cap out movement speed first (make sure you're at the base 25%). Then fill in where you need for the difficulty and build you're playing. Again, I want to emphasize the build you're playing will be an important deciding factor. Gear, or lack there-of, will also forcefully decide for you. >.<
Core:
Movement speed (to base cap 25%) > Vitality (to survivable levels for the difficulty you're playing; skip if you're not dying at all; see below) > Primary stat >>>>>> Increased resource (this is very situational)
Offense:
CC / CD (depending on your CC/CD ratio; maintain ~1 CC:10 CD) > Cooldown Reduction (unless the build is primarily focused on this) > IAS
Defense:
Resist All > Armor > LPS > Life (again, these all vary depending on how much life you have, your build, and the difficulty you're playing at)
Utility:
LoH > RCR > Area Damage > Gold Find
My general rule for health (in softcore) ends up being 300k for T6, 400k for GR 40+, and 600k for GR 50+, though I'm sure this'll change with 2.3 coming. I haven't bothered playing hardcore in a long time, but my guess is around 150% of those numbers. Obviously these numbers change based on your build and function. It's just a matter of trial and error on each build to get it just right.
