Is non-set the way to go now in 2.4? I hear they made a lot more builds viable this time around, but I'm willing to bet there will be that 1 build for each class that op's everything else. It will be discovered in time.
Not that I have an issue with that. I'm just saying it's probably impossible for devs to account for every single thing.
The non-set path doesn't really work for wizards, but I hear that it is great for other classes (e.g., crusaders).
Thanks sweenish for that explanation. I'm glad that build diversity for wizards means that some skills I've never really used (or used to, a long time ago) have made a comeback. I hope it's the same for a lot of classes - I think this patch breathed a new bit of life into the game, and I'm definitely going for a leaderboard push this time. Hope I can get part of the gear grind out of the way asap (leaving ideal secondary rolls for later), and already start regularly farming grift 70.
