Justice lantern makes such a huge difference. Toughness is no longer your limiting factor for a while. Died once in a 62, but standing at the center of an arcane laser when your akarat's champion wears off will do that.

In trying to get gear for the "Thrill" conquest, I need a pair of bracers, and any old pair of level 70 boots. I'm leveling a boon up so I can maybe get the gold conquest accidentally while rushing TX rifts for stones and to get that "TX in x minutes" done in the journey. Looks like I need to beat 4 minutes if I want the stash tab. I'll be on, off and on, this weekend. Hopefully I can group up with some of you guys then.

EDIT: I think I'll only play every other season until I get all the stash tabs.

I may still create a toon and do the first four chapters for whatever pet they make, but pushing every season is not in the cards for me.

Hm... I keep pushing to try and get an Inna's build setup for my Monk. I did happen to get the Crudest Boots last night, which give you two Mystic Allies instead of one. If I could just finish the Inna 6-piece bonus, I'd end up with 10 Mystic Allies instead of 5. I've currently got two pieces and the daibo. Although, I'm not using the daibo right now, because it would replace weapons with +19% fire damage and +28% elite damage.

I also got the ring from that interesting 2-piece set. It's the one where you gain more damage resistance as you start moving and as you stand still, you gain more damage bonus.

Is WOL back in action again? Just got a ancient incense torch, thinking about rolling monk next. It's funny, I started off this season playing wiz, ran out of crap to get for her (other than ancient armor and jewels) so I ended making a DH anyway. I said to myself that I was going to play just the wiz only.. lol

Anyhow, the Shadow set is kind of interesting. I did a GR 50 solo with the limited early gear that I had, and it was kind of crazy flying around hunting elites because you can't do AOE damage on trash mobs. My fingers were hurtin afterwards.

Is WOL back in action again?

There are people that use Wave of Light, but I don't really like it. I prefer a Cyclone Strike + Lashing Tail Kick combination. My problem with Wave of Light is that it's damage is very frontal, so it doesn't work well if enemies are all around you -- unlike Lashing Tail Kick, which is a 360-degree AoE. Although, while I like Cyclone Strike's ability to deal with those pesky running mobs, pulling in a champion pack with the Fire Chains attribute is generally not a good idea.

My biggest problem right now is the lack of a Cindercoat for me to at least Kanai so I can get a 30% cost reduction. I'm going OOS so often that I have to have Reaper's Wraps equipped and have to keep track of health globes at all times.

Tried to get the 50M gold conquest "legit" in the cow level at TX with a boon, nemesis,etc. Lost the streak at 42M. :'-(

I'll just carry a Leorics with emerald and hope for a gilded baron.

I killed a Gilded Baron this morning, got up to 48mil without any extra Gold find on....highest I have seen on one.

Like I said, that was abnormally high....usually around 40mil. But I have seen in game chat that it is doable from a Baron.

But now that you're looking for one, it will be days before you see him

That's exciting. Will probably take a break for a bit. I still want that farm Wiz, but I might just focus on turning my ns wiz into one. I don't have a lot of interest in pushing for the rest of the season.

For everyone doing the 50m gold streak, I wasted hours last night until I found the ruins of corvus. I used the emerald gem in the helm and a few pieces of Gold find (respec your paragon for gold find as well). I started by not putting any offensive abilities on my bar, I ran through the whole zone, opened doors and popped all the scarabs (plan your route). Then throw on your GF gear, spec back and just run through the zone. I think i had 76 million streak when I finished. If you can find a fortune shrine it will be that much easier and make sure you use avarice band or cube it for the gold pickup radius.

What difficulty did you set your game at? TX for maximum gold drop I assume?

I've certainly gained a lot more power over this weekend. I used to have to try in T3, but now I'm having to kind of try in T8. Although, I am finding the descriptor for the Greater Rifts to be rather... overstated. Since I was doing T8 Nephalem Rifts, I did GR35, but it seemed far too easy. I went to GR40, which is labeled as T9, and it seemed more like a T8 Nephalem Rift.

But I also had one of those facepalm moments earlier today. I was up a bit earlier, so I went and did a rift. I found a Blood Goblin, so afterward, I needed to spend my blood shards as I was near the cap. I realized that while I've been spending them on amulets recently (I need one to complete a set), it's quite pricey, and I also need a pair of bracers. I'm using an Inna's build, which has two bracers being used: one to give you damage reduction when you use Cyclone Strike and another that causes Cyclone Strike to debuff enemies, which makes your Mystic Allies deal more damage to them. I had the prior but not the latter. Well, I ended up getting the latter after only about 400 shards, and it was actually a pretty good roll. It had all of the stats that the build stated it should have except +AR instead of +Vit. So, I went to go reroll it, but was rather bewildered when I saw +Dex pop up in the list of new attributes.

"Oh, crap... I rerolled the Dex!" Fortunately, the Dex stat on the bracers was kind of low to begin with, and a reroll or two later actually got me a max Dex stat. I'm a little annoyed that I had such good luck to only screw it up with a silly mistake, but while +Vit is better for the Mystic Allies, +AR isn't terrible. I'm hoping this helps me a lot more with some of my capabilities. I went to do GR50 with my brother, and I just wasn't doing much at all. We were doing T7 or T8 (can't remember which) bounties, and he was just one-shotting the boss bounties on his ranged WoL Monk.

Ha, I had a wonderfull oh crap moment over the weekend to.. lol

I finished my Maurader build, and had a manticore with decent stats for what I thought was a regular legendary. 2590 damage, 24% AD, cdr,.. I rerolled the cdr to a socket, and went up to and easily passed GR65.

However, I wanted an ancient Manticore that i can burn an rgift went. So, I switched back to my wiz that I use to farm db's with. Using the blade build with Tal+sage for the xtra db drop.

Farmed up to like 700+ db, and now I was going to make some manticores. I was very annoyed to spend 500+ db, end up with 5 manticores and non of them were ancient. I looked at my Manticore again, and was like the stats are good enough to rgift it and just rerollt the now socket to damage, and just noticed that it was actually ancient.. facepalm. So, I gifted it and got it up to 2800 or so damage.. don't really notice much of a difference actually. Will prolly have to try to push a lil higher.

got a seasonal sader up to 59. Will run some public bounties tonight and try to get him to 70. I might try to do the skeleton quest to get leoric's crown.

For non-seasonal i've got a Helltooth gargs WD that's pretty decent.

i hadn't played in quite a while and all the 2.4 changes sucked me back in... just the kanai cube alone was a useful enough mechanic for me to feel like playing again.

Don't know if this will make any difference, but I feel like this season and patch 2.4, gaining PL is so much quicker than prior seasons/patches. Maybe it has to do with how they changed the XP system or something, but I'm already PL400+ and I've only played maybe a little over 1 week. (I know, some folks prob are PL800+ in less time )

I got to pl450ish in 4 days of playing. Leveling is easy once you have the right people to run with.

Word, lemme play around for a few more days before rejoining PEON. Got a few hours in today on a fresh seasonal, cleared a 35 grift solo easily so far on my barb. Pretty crazy for like 3 hours of play time lol.
