I have been an Eagles fan since the 70s. Including the Superbowl loss seasons, I don't think I can remember a season more memorable than this one. With all the ups and downs and great plays, injuries, disappointments and comebacks.

Football mirrors life, you win some you lose some, sometime you lose alot. Either way I am proud of the team, they were left for dead and at least they showed some pride and resiliency. They should be back mostly intact and probably better next year.

Chris Rose is great, I love his articles. His article before this one about visiting Philly before the game cracked me up. I'm glad he's getting his silliness back, he went through some hard times after Katrina (depression, etc).

 as well. The Eagles played their hearts out this season, and it showed on the field last night especially. I have to say that was one of the greatest football games I've ever watched, regardless of the fact that the Saints won. Just an excellent game all around!

I don't think anyone can really root against the Saints at this point.

I don't really feel anything bad towards them right now even though they knocked off the Eagles.

Given what the Saints accomplished this year and where they came from last year, and what that region went through as a whole. I cannot wish them anything but the best.

Andrews is currently in the hospital with a neck injury. Who knows when or if he will ever be back.

Not much news forthcoming on this as yet, which is slightly ominous. Hope he's ok.

For something that is supposed to be wholesome and American and shared between fathers and their little boys, I don't think any visible use of the word "Fvck" is appropriate when you're actually AT the stadium, regardless of which team you are supporting or hating.

Wholesome... hehe... perhaps from a distance.

Have you ever stepped foot on a football field? Ever played the game at any level? I've never heard profanity, obscenity, and threats in life like I heard on the field. And that's just from high school coaches

Looks like Andrews is going to be ok. Good news for him and for the team. Btw, he is an uncommonly well-spoken young man, one who also happens to be an all-pro in the NFL.

Dude, any parent bringing their younguns to, say, the Linc would consider a risque tee-shirt the LEAST of their worries.

And, about your day care suggestion. Couldn't we just start out with some tasteful soft porn?

Also how are the Eagles still respectable? After all the crap and Jeff Garcia shirts and sh!t I've had to put up with around town this week I am glad they lost.

How are they still respectable? Are you joking? They made an incredible comeback this season, mostly thanks to Garcia and Westbrook. McNabb's injury was a blessing in disguise.

OK So you're another one of those dumbasses who are making me go as far as being on Deeko's side in hating philadelphia fans. For the past 5 weeks I've had to listen to the retards in this city talk about how Garcia is better than McNabb and how he saved the season. The reason we started winning again is because of PLAYCALLING (i.e., run more) and DEFENSE. Both of those were lacking yet again in saturday's game, and we lost.
