I don't agree with that. You have to keep in mind that VP Cheney largely CREATED that party line, and he is a very bright man.

I'm pretty impartial on this. I'm a brit so dont see a lot of these two over here but Edwards seems a little emotional for a lawyer.

Funny if you ask me, the Presidency, which has been mocked by people all over the world for its current inability to speak proper English, has their entire campaign surrounded around debating every word that is spoken by Kerry.

I think Cheney is doing pretty well. The moderator called Edwards on saying Kerry wants the world to give veto power to US military use. That clarification might cost him some points.

Edwards is getting his ass handed to him. He is just parotting everything Kerry said last week and sounding redundant. Dick is a better speaker than Bush by far. He looks like a mean old prick but he is owning Edwards.

Edwards is not a particularly bright guy. Yeah, he won a lot of cases in the redneck courts of the deep, deep South, the same courts which railroaded so many black men to their deaths only a few decades ago. Any good ol' boy could have done that. I'm afraid Cheney is smoking Edwards tonight. Edwards doesn't know what hit him.

Bush should take a couple of days off. He does not need to come out to Columbus, Ohio for the 23rd time in 3 months. He should stay in Washington and prep hard for the debates. Hell, I could tutor him on every single possible argument Kerry can bring up and all possible counterarguments in about 8 hours. Bush has done better in the past, and I hope he delivers next time around.

He's more nervous than I remember seeing him, and he's being evasive.
He did not answer the opening question, he recited the Administration Matra.

He just attempted a face to face character assassination to place Edwards on the defensive.
And proceded to exit the 'debate' and continue character assassination by shifting to Kerry.

This guy is slime.

I'm just goning to watch - with those lips moving, there will be fireworks.

In under 2 minutes? I would like to hear their plan as well, but these debates don't allow for the time to go into the plan. If it was me, I would do a 2 hour debate with more time to discuss these plans of both candidates.
