That would indeed be an upset, Spain have a history of losing their nerve in quarter finals and is the reason they've only ever won one tournament (same as Holland really). There is always the exception though....

Intense game. Both teams played very well. But I think Spain had the edge.

I have the feeling that Germany will win over Turkey. I predict a Germany/Russia final.

Yea.. .Diving and their boring defensive play.. they need to attack .. for decades I'll i've seen is Italy play defensive football, just trying to score on the counter -attack or go to penalties .. boring. so glad they lost

QFT. Their style of play is just brutal. Like playing the trap in hockey.

The Spain vs. Russia match should be great, with a lot better tempo than the Italy game. Russia looks much more dangerous than when Spain whooped them in the round-robin, but I still think Spain will come out top **fingers crossed**.
