if you're in the know, then thats easily decipherable.

-information regarding sfv

simply put, par's can repair damaged/incomplete files, and sfv's scan all the files and notifies you what files are incomplete/missing/damaged

What group is the 700mb version in? I'm only seeing the huge version in .dvdr

I'm new to newsgroups. All one would have to do is highlight all of the parts and download them? Then, join them up with a program. Right?

edit: and how would you search a massive newsgroup without downloading ALL the headers?

Maybe try doing an incremental udate for the group it is contained in for grabit. that way you don't have to download all of the headers for that group.
