So, today is the 19th, only one month left until it release. I saw the 3 trailers again. Amazing stuff.....I simply cannot wait........


Btw, will gollum be in the first movie? i'm anxious to see him...

Too bad about gollum though, I really wanted to see how they made him look. I am guessing we'll catch a few glipses of him in this one (remember when he is following them down the river and he looks like a log?)


I guess the Balrog will make up for it though! I wonder how big he'll be and what he'll look like.......that's been subject to endless debate.....

The British premiere is Dec. 10 so in less than three weeks we should get some reviews, if not before then. Come to think of it, I'm surprised nobody has leaked any reviews yet.

I heard tickets go on sale in Canada on Nov. 26 so I'm gonna have to check all the theaters then...and get my tix for opening night!! I'd still wait in line even if I got tickets ahead of time though

btw the soundtrack goes on sale today, i'm about to head to the mall before class.

Maybe I am wrong but I read somewhere that the movies were supposed to release in 6 month intervals. Dec 2001, June 2002, Dec 2002. Doesn't make sense to release them a year apart since the filming for all 3 is already done. Saw the long trailer at the theater this weekend. Looks awesome on the big screen. We saw it when we took our boys to see Harry Potter. The boys liked Harry potter but they are really amped up for LOTR. They are 9 and 12 and have both read LOTR already. They are such good boys
