LOL, that will be fun. We'll have to do that. There is a small selection of SUVs. I went through the car list and picked these ones out:
Audi Q7 V12 TDI
BMW X5 xDrive48i
Dodge Ram SRT-10
Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged
Mercedes ML63 AMG
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S
Volkswagen Touareg R50
I chuckled when I saw the Ram SRT-10 would be in it because it reminded me of Gran Turismo 4 and how you could load up on A-Spec points by just using the Ram for as many races as possible.
For those not familiar, GT4 had points that you could earn for completing races that varied from 1 to 200, depending on how powerful your car was compared to the rest of the field. So racing a bunch of little hatchbacks in a GT-R was allowed, but you'd only get 1 point. They didn't actually do anything; they were only useful for bragging rights. The formula it used to calculate A-Spec points, though, was a bit off... not only did it not account for the presence of N2O, but it was lopsided in that it allocated tons of extra A-Spec points to you if you drove a heavy car. The Ram, being the heaviest car in the game, was always able to max out engine upgrades and still get 200 points.
So that makes me wonder how Forza 3 will handle SUVs in terms of calculating the performance index. They'll have to account for not only weight, but the higher center of gravity (now that it has rollover physics). SUVs have to be balanced just right. But I think it'll be fine. I remember being able to use a 1000+ HP Plymouth Barracuda in Forza 2 that was still a B700, but it balanced out pretty well because it had no grip.
