I'm so glad that it comes out on my "Saturday"...two whole days with an empty house. Does anyone know if you can pickup your copy @ a different store than you did your pre-order at? I've always done it @ the same store, which is 4 blocks from work, but 22 miles from home.

If you ordered it via Gamestop you can't. You can cancel your pre-order at one Gamestop and order it at the one close to your house though, there's no penalty for canceling. I don't think you can pick it up at different stores though.

Sweet! I pre-ordered last Wednesday but Amazon has a "low price guarantee" so it'll drop down to the new $5 less price. Can't complain about that.

I had the LCE pre-ordered at Gamestop but decided the extra cash wasn't worth the few parts I wanted. For 99% of people (unless, like me, your favorite car happens to be one of the 5 LCE cars), the normal edition should be fine.

Yeah I would like the LCE myself but since I am getting a copy for Free I cannot justify spending $$ on it.

Before anyone asks I get it free because I blew my wad on the Fanatec wheel setup which ships next week.

I won't be on with you guys to start since I won't have my game yet but I once I get it I should be back torturing all of you once again

Free copy of Forza with the purchase of the wheel? Not terrible...although I still think that thing is horribly overpriced.

Perhaps but being that I am wheel only driver and I went through 2 MS wheels already and am now on my 3rd it was worth it to me.

A lot of $$ yes but I got a decent tax refund last year and treated myself to this.

It will certainly get plenty of use.

I've had a quick go. It really is sublime. But I have no idea where I'm going and my little Fiat is getting beat up. I have noticed the occasional frame dropped in the replays but other than that - wow!

as a side note, the second disc is an installation disk only, so no faffing about changing discs all the time.

Really really happy!

This has been known for a while but congrats on getting it! Hopefully Amazon will "goof up" and send it early.

Same here, wasn't expecting to see it before next week but Blockbuster got it right and were the cheapest to boot for the LCE :thumbsup:

The install was approx 7.9GB in total for both discs, an 80MB download for the LCE cars, and a 460MB download for the 2 tracks and classic cars. Spent an equal amount of time racing and checking out the stuff on the storefront. Hello Kitty vinyls FTW!

how's the upgrade/tuning system? any real improvements over forza2 other than the auto stuff? did they play GT4 enough to figure out how to do two player splitscreen (replays, pick cars from same garage)?

throw a dog a bone here, i gotta wait a whole week. ;P
