Ordered it from Newegg w/ the $20 card. Can't say I'm dying to play it, but I haven't been a gamer much in the past 2 years. I'm sure I'll be glued to the XBox once it finally comes in
I only played 1 game of horde and I guess they don't use dedicated servers for that because the lag was worse than anything I saw in GOW2. I was teleporting all over the place. It was impossible to melee anything because it didn't register me in the correct spot. Hopefully that was just a random 1 time occurrence.
Nah, Horde has been pretty sketchy for me, too. I tried TDM but it officially SUCKS. It's just a bunch of people camping corners with sawed off shotguns and a few meatshields who haven't yet learned to do that. Very boring.

TDM is definitely smooth... Horde has been very hit or miss, though. Host migration has been working < 50% of the time for me, but if people are dashboarding half as bad as they did in CoD, not much Epic can do about that.
I haven't given up on TDM yet, but the camping snoozefests are draining my interest.
My copy should arrive any minute now, waiting on the UPS guy. Already sold my Savage Kantus code on Amazon for $24 so this one will cost me $16 out of pocket!

Its not personal, I'm definitely no pro at the game myself but to say it "SUCKS" because of campers is idiotic. There has never been more ways to counter corner camping than there is now. Camping is a part of pretty much every game that has TDM. Saying a game sucks and is boring because of that reason pretty much tells me all I need to know.
And the fact that you're lashing out because you think I said a game sucks tells me all I need to know.

I mean just the way the game generally plays. It feels like gears 2 on dedicated servers then. They added so little. Just a few weapons and the ability to jump over cover into someone face. Other than that theyre practically indistinguishable from each other.
Not necessarily a bad thing.
