"Hearing a 6300 user talk about dumping his Gigabyte motherboard for another is absurd. I'm getting 3.2Ghz without doing anything but running the ram at default 800Mhz. Why would anybody want to get another board if forum members and professional reviews say great things about the DS3? I can understand adding a new graphics card and better ram, but why the board?"
Well because I bought the DS3 to test it and play with. I've had an Asus P5B-E and just wanted a new toy - anyways, the Asus P5B-E gave me the same overclock without the hassle... and thats why one might replace a motherboard for another. I dunno, I'm not a patient person and I get easily annoyed with hardware that doesn't work properly. I feel that hardware that doesn't work properly should be replaced.
