So here what I've done so far:
Trying to install Win2K via an IDE to USB removable hard drive enclosure gives me an INACCESSABLE BOOT DEVICE BSOD in the first phase.
Moving RAM around didn't help.
Booting into Knoppix sends my monitor into some out-of-range mode (it's a Daytek DF905).
Overclocking it to 2.4 from 1.8 seems to help a little, but Win2K install still doesn't finish successfully.
Loaded both optimized and fail-safe settings.
Still doesn't work.
