Just converted my zr1 into a race car. hell yeah - its a beast. If anyone wanted a list of the cars that can be converted here it is:

Under the auto mall menu you can convert certain cars to race trim.

I recommend the Citron (sp) C4 WRC race as well. its an expensive car to buy (70k?) but upgrade it and do the bonus race with it and youll win a cool 1.5mil credits. I upgraded and ran the race once and won. Not a bad way to earn back the car price plus some cash.

Yeah I just did that one and got 1st. Easy 1.5 mil. Ford GT was easy too. The Nascar around the ring is impossible for me. I can't overpower everyone with HP so I'm screwed.

Has anyone invested any time in spec-b yet? I'm trying to get into it, but my driver is doing his best to imitate a female driver. During one race, he literally spent 5 minutes trying to get unstuck from a wall. Does it get better, or will the driver remaining retarded?

I'm up to lvl 23, and yes they get better. But they still piss me off to no end sometimes when it comes to passing or slowing down on corners they don't need to. My brother seems to really like bspec, he's up to lvl 26.

The Driving Force GT goes on sale for $100 every now and then. It's PC compatible too so you can use it for PC racing games.

Yea they definitely get better. I'm at B-Spec lvl 12 but like you said, sometimes they still drive retarded.

i just got mine for 89.99 but its listed for 250 now Oo.

Man i dunno why but i suck so bad with the wheel too. Seems like the back end of my ferrari 458 just spins out so easily (even with SFR). Sine i used the same car with my controller and didnt have these problems as bad i just assume itll take getting used to the wheel. I definitely dont have confidence in the corners anymore compared to my DS3

If you are just starting out, forget the tests and special events; run all the bonus series of races first. Doing that will get you a little over 5million credits and level 25. All you need to start out is the cheapest car you can get for any of the first races. From there you can buy all the other cars needed. In just 2-3 hours you will earn 5 million and be level 25, plus have all the cars you bought to run the races.

I did this the other night in a second psn account, bought a 5 million credit race car and gifted it to myself in my main account.

I got a bit better with it last night. Seems to be really bad if i just smash the brake. Easier to just apply like half to 3/4 braking power. I have to run traction control high as well (like 6 or 7) but im sure ill gradually get used to it....i hope.

Dumb question.... how could I tell you why you would do anything?

I did it for two reasons; first I needed a new account with a GTP_ name so I could be in the registry and allowed to run in the weekly racing series; second, I needed a 5 million credit car and it's by far the quickest and easiest way to get that much credit.

So I can make a second account and get the credits again? Can I transfer some of my cars from my main account to my second account so I don't have to buy the cars again and run the races to win the money and cars then transfer the cars back?

I'm beyond frustrated with Spec-B. I have a car with double the horsepower and less weight than practically anyone in the field and yet my driver just sticks to the bumper of the car in front of him and refuses to pass. Besides running the completed races over and over, the game is basically over for me. This is disappointing.

Yeah but you can only gift cars once a day. I think it resets everyday at 4pm PST for me anyway.
