Ok, guys, the orange box comes with HL2, HL2 Ep1, HL2 Ep2, Portal, TF2, and Peggle.

The only games you can gift are HL2 and HL2 Ep1.

You can't gift Ep2, TF2, Portal, or Peggle!

CS:S, DOD:S, or any other Valve/STEAM game is NOT available for gifting...

So stop asking for these other games! what a bunch of frickin cheapskates we have on this forum!

can someone post what the gift email looks like?
i gifted my copy of HL2 to my friend. When he got the email it said something about HL2 TRIAL, not the full game.

He said there is a link in the email to click on to get the HL2 gift but he gets a message that the page can't be found.

I'll try to resend it to him tonight.

Actually regular Steam orders also give the gifting ability ... I might have HL2 and Ep1 up for offer, but only if my buddy already has it. Will check tonight and update this thread if I have it.

i can't beleive there are people out there really nice enough to give stuff away, ty to anyone even considering it.

you can't gift TF2 or portal!!!
the only reason they are gifitng it is because they already have HL2 or HL2 Ep1. They're not buying these games for other people!

he must have bought it for someone or was just really generous, because you can't gift the whole orange box.

anyway....

resent my gift copy of HL2 to my friends email and the website still wouldn't work so i sent it directly through steam, using his ID and he can download it now.
