What is the difference between the three styles of the game you can order? I still need to order mine and I was just going to get the basic, cheapest one.
Limited edition only include (I think) a "Making Of" DVD, while the Legendary includes "Making Of", a DVD of all the cutscenes from all 3 Halo games, and the small replica Master Chief helmet.
I would've paid $100 for all that, but $150? No way. I reserved the regular edition. Screw you, Microsoft.
I got the Limited Edition Halo 2...and I still have never watched the making of crap. You'll never end up touching it IMO.
I got the LE Halo 2 one as well. It was defiintely worth it IMO. But then again, it was only a $5 difference. It was $50 vs. $55.
Now it's $60 vs. $70 vs. $130. I got the regular one this time.
The bonus DVD on Halo 2 is actually pretty damn interesting. It basically tells you that bungie was rushed by MS to make the product, and that they put together that E3 demo which had nothing to do w/the game, then they rushed Halo 2 to get it met by the date that MS gave them. Halo 2 was not nearly what Bungie wanted it to be when it was atcually released.
That is why Halo 3 is so big for them. Bungie has repeatedly claimed that they have EVERYTHING in Halo 3 that they wanted, whereas in Halo 2 they had to leave a lot of stuff cut out that they wanted to add.
