I've had pretty good luck with my teammates and opponents in matchmaking so far, but I encountered my first two real jackasses today.
This guy:
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Ha...aspx?player=OUTLAW4489 just started shooting me out of the blue. Turned out he had 3 betrayals before he was booted, and he has a lifetime total of 65 betrayals in ~200 games. I have 11 betrayals in 360 games; most of those are because I got a little overzealous on the Ghost, and even if I kill a few of my teammates I do well enough on the Ghost that we come out ahead in the end. 65 betrayals in 200 games is a LOT of intentional betrayals.
Then this jackhole:
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Ha...ayer=RATED%20R%20T0xiC was whining about having to play on High Ground, then when we vetoed it he whined even more that we had to play on Construct. He's the first person I ever submitted negative feedback for BEFORE the game started (for communication). I muted him shortly after the game started because he got even more annoying. I guess he really didn't feel like playing on Construct, because he quit pretty quickly. Too bad I couldn't give him a second negative for that. 68 early quits... he must have the worst ISP ever.
MS needs to start banning these people who degrade the enjoyability of the game - not just cheaters.
This guy:
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Ha...ayer=RATED%20R%20T0xiC was whining like a little girl in the lobby because the map that was selected was High Ground. So we vetoed it, and the next map was Construct. He whined some more, then we got into the game and I saw him just sitting there. I went right up to him, face to face and he didn't move. I left, saw that he died shortly thereafter, and then he quit. He's quit 68 times! WTF?! I had already gave him a negative feedback before the game started for communication because he was so damn annoying (and I muted him shortly after the game started because he was getting more annoying). Too bad I couldn't neg him again for quitting early.
Another thing that pisses me off is when I'm going for something in the beginning of a game (a weapon or vehicle or active camo or whatever) and one of my teammates who doesn't have a headset shoots me (not kills me, just shoots me). You know, if you put a fucking headset on and SAY you want the needler, I'll let you have it. If you shoot me intentionally, you get a negative feedback.
Side note - I wish it was possible to limit your teammates to people with headsets. I hate getting stuck on a team where we can't work together because half the team doesn't have headsets. It comes with the damn premium system!
