I can easily clean up those challenges! The only one that might be difficult would be the 2 killing sprees, but a nice multi team swat should do the trick pretty easily.
Sorry we couldn't get you into our game last night plmp, we had 2 slots open when I sent an invite but 2 other people (who my teammates invited) joined. Someday...
Today's challenges are all Matchmaking based:
- Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking (750).
- A Great Friend - Get 30 assists in multiplayer Matchmaking (1200).
- Double Nickles - Get 2 Killing Sprees in a multiplayer Matchmaking game (1000).
- The Love of the Game - Complete 17 games in multiplayer Matchmaking (2500).

After they fixed yesterday's survival challenge (and butchered the amount of XP you got from it) I completed 'em all, now I'm less than 6K away from Major.

I got all of yesterday's challenges, stayed up til midnight to do it. Paying for it this morning though.
I'm addicted to loggin in once a day to get these.
I would have completed them MUCH faster had Outpost shown up more than once every 4 games!
I don't drink much soda, but I've already had a mountain dew for breakfast. I need to work on not staying up so late.
As I discovered yesterday, Score Attack counts as a Firefight match and you can choose which map to play (essentially). You're by yourself though.
I was told today that Gruntocalpyse is basically free credits.
Hah, i'll have to keep that in mind the next time one of these challenges pops up.
Free credits...in the same way that playing a game of MP is "free credits." I played it for the first time ever yesterday, it takes about the same amount of time as a matchmaking game, is much more boring, and you don't get many (if any) more creds.
Yeah, I had no idea either. I was getting frusterated last week trying to get my kills on Holdout because the map never popped up. On Score Attack you still vote for a map (although you're the only one there) but intead of only letting you vote once and then forcing you to choose like most MM lobbies you can vote as many times as you'd like.
Credit earn rates for Gruntpocalypse are being reduced to fall more in line with other modes.
From Bungie's Weekly Update:
Good evening,
We are in the process of applying credit resets to approximately 15,000 users who we have identified as the most egregious Challenge Reset abusers.
A one day credit earning ban has also been applied, mostly to ensure that recipients receive an in-game notification of the action taken.
As with any such measure, we have taken the time to carefully select our criteria to eliminate false positives.
A more comprehensive pass will be occuring in the coming week as our automated Banhammer mechanisms grow accurate enough to satisfy our high bar for burden of proof. If you are thinking about getting an easy 50k credits by using this exploit, I would strongly advise you to reconsider.
Thank you, and please direct any discussion of these resets to this thread.
Edit 1: a point of clarification. No bans were handed out tonight for
a) Playing too much Gruntpocalypse (no such thing!)
b) Using the target locator too much (no such thing!)
Specifically, we targeted an exploit that allowed players to complete a Challenge 20+ times via itentional network manipulation (i.e., disconnects.)
Spot checks have revealed the telltale signature of this behavior on every denier so far, so don't be fooled by the protests of innocence. We aren't.
Edit 2:
1) If you have lost your Legendary Helmet or any other downloadable offers, you can re-download them via your Download History. We're not sure this is affecting anyone (we haven't reproduced it internally), but just in case it is, give this a try.
2) We won't be resetting Commendations, as we do not feel that the exploit used affected them. It would not be fair to people who did use the exploit but who wish to retain the record of their playstyle, and we cannot differentiate between the two systematically. Sorry.
