I pre-ordered MW2 from Walmart and it took 3 weeks to get to me! They were using some new mixed-shipping method (UPS/USPS) and it was very, very, very slow. It sat for 3 days in the adjacent city before it was sent out for delivery.

Then again NewEgg sent me an email on Friday stating Reach was shipping, then I got a "pick up" notice on Sunday and today it got a "facility scan" so we are not even at the "departure" stage. Now they are saying it may get here Thursday the 16th.

My copy is waiting at Best Buy, ready to be picked up and the gift card was sent out last week and should be here any day.

I should go play a game or 3 of Halo 3 to get back into the console feel...

That doesn't sound good at all, I'm gonna give them call later and if they give me some BS, I'm gonna complain, get a refund, and then buy it from somewhere else.

Amazon FTW. Release Day Delivery has never failed to be in my mailbox when I get home from work on release day.

I usually buy from Amazon.com but I had a 40 dollar Walmart gift card so Reach cost me $20, plus they gave me another $20.

UPS can be really random with their deliveries. Usually it gets to my place around 2:30, but I've had deliveries as early as 9 AM and as late as 8:30 PM.

I haven't received a shipping confirmation email yet, but I can't edit my order anymore. One of my professors is out of town, so I get tomorrow afternoon off. I'll be waiting impatiently for Reach. Until then, I'm doing the rest of my homework for the week today.

UPS can be really random with their deliveries. Usually it gets to my place around 2:30, but I've had deliveries as early as 9 AM and as late as 8:30 PM.

since then nothing else has been set up on this forum.. that and RDR was fail online.

I've never had a problem with amazon release day delivery, but mine still hasn't shipped. Not too concerned, there's a distribution center close by and I do live in the UPS hub.

i was pretty good at halo 2. missed most of halo 3.. so im assuming given some time i should be able to bounce back and rack up some kills.....

im down for game night.. i always loved custom halo games.. so much creativity to make good games.


let set something up for tuesday or wendsday night? 8 or 9 est.. would be great for me..
