I liked the co-op in Reach. Everyone saw their own Spartan during the cut scenes, so it felt like your story even though you were playing with friends.

Yeah, mine was the default image for about a week and a half and then stayed the same until yesterday. So I guess I'm on (avg) a 10 or so day update. Not sure what triggers an update, the stats on the site update within 10 seconds of finishing a match, not sure why armor changes don't.

Dumb question of the day.. My son and I want to play against each other on the same Xbox, splitscreen on the same TV. Is this possible, or do we always have to be on the same team?

If you're online you'll probably be on the same team, if it's local only you can be on opposing teams. When in the lobby just hit one of the bumpers to change your team.

We are playing on the same Xbox, split screen on the TV, and want to go one on one against each other. He is convinced he's better than I am, and I need to put him in his place. Typical coming of age crap.

All we want is a map with 1 on 1, no other npcs or anything.

Yup, you can do that. I "think" you have to do it through the Forge but I'm not sure.

Today's daily challenges are straight up easy and they're worth a ton of cR's (5600 to be exact).

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any mode (2500)
One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight MM (1500)
Heroic Overwatch - Kill 50 enemies on Overlook in FF MM (600)
Points, Points - Score 10,000 points in a FF MM game (1000)

You can get all of them in 2 1/2 Score Attack games (30 mins or so). For "Points, Points," I got it easily doing a Sniper Attack game (ended up with 24K or so points), the others you can knock out in a Gruntpocalypse.

What I'd do is one Gruntpocalypse on Overlook, a sniperfight on any map that's easy to defend, and get the last 15 or so kills in Matchmaking (or any mode really).

FYI - A really easy Sniper Attack game mode is on Courtyard. When you spawn go straight ahead until you can't, then take a right to the end of the walkway. You can just camp there, they have to come down the walkway to kill you. The only semi-hard thing is the Jackals that can jump, but they're not that bad.

I just do Score Attack: Gruntpocalypse on Corvette. Got them in three games.

I couldn't get the 10K point challenge on Gruntpacolypse. I got 9982 on my first game, every one after that I was like 300 points shy though. Sniper Attack is faster to play than Gruntpacolypse and you get gobs of points.

I'll get in on arena once I iknow the maps. Most of which I have barely if at all mastered the geography let alone the weapon spawns. Its gonna be a while :whiste:
