It's funny because they get kicked out of the barnes and noble... and they're still telling people that hermione dies as they walk outside of the B&N.. .then the manager confronts them again gets the security and kicks them off the parking lot

Anyways, it's not just about magic, it's about what he can do. Harry has stopped Voldemort over and over again, and countless other things aswell. All whilst using minor magic. Does that not make him a good wizard?

No it definitely makes him a good wizard, but the circumstances in which Harry usually defeats Voldermort aren't always very solid, or convincing. I guess what I want to see is Harry to grow into a Dumbledore kind of wizard. Amazingly powerful, yet honest and innocent in all intentions, you know? Walk softly, carry a big stick. Maybe it's just the action-movie buff in me, but I want to see Harry kick some ass (Voldemorts) in a highly complicated and strategic wizarding battle.

But anyway... 7 MORE HOURS!!

A "friend" of mine has never read the books, thinks they're evil and Satanic, and says he doesn't care about them. He was asking another friend that had read book five who died in that book, and I told her not to say anything out loud, as I had not finished it yet. So she whispers the answer to him, and dumbass asks a question regarding the movies which lets me know who died.

Of course, he is the type of person that would do crap like that just to piss people off, too.

Well having someone be an ass and blurting it out is different than actively reading a message board thread about it.

If you care about the book that much, then you should already have your isolation headphones on while you're waiting outside your local bookstore dressed like a wizard.

I did the midnight thing for the fifth one. I went to Borders with two of my friends, and we won a stupid trivia game, which let me have a free copy of the book, but I had already preordered it, and they wouldn't give me any credit for it, so I have 2 copies of the fifth book, plus a Harry Potter hat (it's in my closet somewhere), and some other usesless junk. I got there at 10, and left at 12:01 (winners get first in line priviledges, and there were ~100 people there). It was so boring. I wasn't going to do anything this time, but after reading this thread, I've decided to go to Wordsworth in Harvard Sq. (Cambridge) right now, and see if it's any better there.
