I agree, definately considering how we know certain characters views on death. Right now it seems as if what has happened has happened much by calculation, however it could change as it is not up to me - and I'm not sure I'd like it unless it did turn out to be a part of a predetermined plan, however if it is otherwise it would definatley make Harry look even better than he does right now, so I can see plusses either way.
..and personally I like the little love story that was interweaved in it. I love their last interaction in the book....I could see myself going for her!
Yeah, there seemed to be a lot of "hook ups" in this one, things are settling down and shifting into gear for that final stretch towards the finish line. Some things aren't quite certain, however, and are still somewhat iffy. However I do think Harry needs to take some notes from Spiderman 2, seeing as how he's sacrificing so much for the good of others, I think he shouldn't be to proud to refuse help where he needs it most.
I also like how Fluer acted at the end. Very nice!
her character was similar as it had been in the 4th book, iffy at the begining and very likable towards the end.
Oh man...I am already anticipating the next one...
Book 6 almost seems like the first half (or third most likely ) of book 7, it doesn't really seem to start and finish on its own to be able to exist on its own - as if its existence is to setup book 7 - and it does an exceptional job. The ending isn't a cliff hanger, the entire book is.
So do you guys think the next one he is going solo or with a team?
I'd place my bets on on some more D.A. action, and it surely seems fitting. I seriously doubt he's going to be alone the entire time, however the whole solo Harry vs. Voldemort final confrontation seems inevitable - however it would offer an interesting twist for Harry to have help. Harry has often been a fool to think he's had to do things by himself. He needs to realize that he's not the only one who can or is to make choices, he and his friends need to come together and make choices as a whole - or at least this is how I feel. One of Voldemort's weaknesses has been his lack of true friends, something Harry would be throwing away to act alone because he certainly is rich in the power Dumbledore knows Harry has.
