My billing cycle is just about to be up with Tmobile. Im probably just gonna do another month. If its not out by Dec 10th, I'll be pissed.
you can pre-order both the 16GB and 32GB in Europe

damn, must really suck to be in Europe when you want electronics. Every single toy that I saw over there had a ridiculous markup, lol.
patience. In the meantime, be sure to adjust your off-contract TMo plan to a super awesome, much cheaper, better service monthly plan.
I'm sure that's how much it'll cost over here too.
I'm patiently waiting for VZW to announce a concrete release date. That way I can pester the shit out of them and get them to move my renewal date from 1/12 to 11/11. I fully expect to have to wait until January, so if they oblige I'll be all the merrier.

Well...sort of. It will cost about $600. Not 600 euro, that's about $840.
Actually I remember a ton of people doing this for huge release phones in the past. It may work. You have to call though, don't try the in-store reps. Unless you think you have a hook-up with one.
Well I was hoping my OG droid would last until the GN was released but today I dropped it on the ground and now my screen isn't responding to any touch or gestures.
Do I dare risk picking up a razr on thursday then exchanging it for a GN once it drops?
I was thinking of doing the same thing hmm
I have one question about the razr...the battery...
what happens when it starts to go out on it? You can't replace it correct? Seems like a death sentence for the phone unless I am missing something obvious like usual

This is true. While the devices are more expensive outside USA, after comparing the 12 months device and service cost, European customers save a gread deal of money after only 12 months, calculations show even more savings with longer operation. Some Austrian providers offer the iphone4s for free with contract and the monthly unlimited plan is still cheaper than some BYOP USA plans.what would you prefer, pay full price for any phone here but they come unlocked (including iphone) and get any mobile plan you want, starting at 15/euro month, no need to pay for extra stuff like hotspot or the USA way with the expensive forced 2 year plans, the stupid options like hotspot and the locked phones
do the math, total ownership in the USA over 2 years is much higher because of the lack of competition and you are left with a locked phone that you can not even use on another network. I really laugh my ass of with these 70 dollar/month smartphone plans. I'll stick with our 15/euro month plans with 0 commitment and I happily pay full price for my unlocked Iphone or Android device
I prefer our suckage over the USA suckage anytime of the week ;-)

Hasn't there always been around 1 month gap between the announcement and the Nexus actually shipping?
The problem is more that they've been silent on it since announcing it. No news on what carriers are getting it, when they are getting it or pricing.
Costco has a 90 exchange policy on phones. Im getting the Razr friday and exchanging it for the Nexus when it comes out.
