Dual core with super HT is a bit hard to swallow. True Quad seems to be the sweatspot. If it is indeed fast as Nehalem, it would be fantastic achievement and would be awesome for laptops if they can get power usage down.
Might add this to the mix. Trinity will be "dualcores" only with 2 modules.
Like an above poster, I'm cautiously optimistic. AMD's CPU department has a habit of overstating their magic.

Considering that clock for clock Ivy Bridge > Sandybridge > Westmere > Nehalem > Yorkfield > Kentsfield > Phenom II > Bulldozer, I think it is reasonable to low ball expectations from AMD on the high end at this point.
Isn't Phenom II about equal to Yorkfield clock for clock?
